The Audacious SolarEdge Bidirectional EV Charger in “DC!” at 12kw and soon at 25kw for your HOME!

The potential of this innovation cannot be overstated from both the micro and macro viewpoints. Whether it’s in the home for some robust V-H or in the world of virtual power planting with V-G and grid services.
This interview made me feel like the wait for intelligent V-H is nearly over and the value will not just be in terms of longevity during outage, thats a no brainer, but in limiting grid buy in a post nem environment for example among many other opportunities. I know that when my house battery has discharged that’s when I turn to the grid to buy some of those $.43 kwh electrons.
We are now finally, really talking grid independence, not leaving the grid per say, wouldn’t want to miss out on grid services down the road, but with this type of tech and power enabled authority, a new balance of power can be realized - quite literally.
At least that’s one solar aficionados read and if it’s not entirely obvious, I cannot wait to play with this technology!!
This tech is a great example of why we stay on the Solar Coaster through the dips, it’s that wild ride towards the promise of an awesome future that keeps us coming back.
