  • Outside of Alto Pit is a fun, but challenging, 50" trail that my RZR barely fits on. The wide angle of the GoPro makes the trail look wider and the drops look less steep than they are but it's a great trail!
    These are straight from the camera at normal speed.

    I have 2016 trail it does everything I want to do. I really enjoy this video , especially because there is no music overlay and one gets to hear engine roar that’s what it’s all about. Keep the videos coming and stay and ride safe..

      Sadly this very trail was recently widened to give APS access to the power lines so it’s a wide dirt road now. It was one of my favorite 50” trails :(

    I watched videos with a rzr 900 trail "50" 4 or 5 years ago. You sound like the same person as he? That guy had the comments blocked though and I couldn't get in touch with him. You just came up on my UA-cam list. I have a 2019 rzr 900 EPS "50" bought new. That other guy had a huge influence on my wife and I buying that particular machine.. We live in Northern Lower Michigan and after buying the machine I started to convert it into an 'Assembled Pickup' according to Michigan SOS Law TR-54.. Took me almost 18 months (Covid) dealing with the State and County Police and the SOS. Finally got it Michigan Titled and Licensed in 2021. Legal on all roads except Interstates. Its a head turner...
    PS. Its got 27" Terrabites , 9" frt & 11" rears on original 12" rims

      Was probably me. I changed my channel name recently but did several reviews. I'm tardy on producing a 10,000 mile update. I have nearly 11,000 miles on mine now! Congrats on getting it street legal. In AZ they're legal and it saves a lot of hassle just being able to drive to/from trails on the road. I did actually recently puncture a Terrabite. It was the front right and it got a sidewall hit which actually penetrated all the way through. Found out about it when doing a left hand curve on the highway coming back from the trail. Nearly understeered off the road but fortunately the tire construction was tough enough it didn't come off the rim and was still pretty rigid so was drivable to get home. Up to that moment those tires had been indestructible. Must have been a buried jagged rock that got it.

    I encourage you to update your descriptions, for better search engine results, to read: Epic ATV UTV 50" inch RZR trail rides... The only reason I found your channel was my specific search for 50" trails. I've never seen your channel show up in any other search results like: ATV trails, UTV trails, ATV overlanding, UTV overlanding, etc etc.

      I added some more keywords, it may take time to propagate as these trail videos were posted recently (two of them today!) 50” trails are the best!

    How much room is there in those gates?

    • @ramblingadventures
      @ramblingadventures  11 місяців тому

      They're "50-inch" gates but there are a couple of inches on each side. So probably 53-54" of usable space.

    Hey buddy! I know you said this machine had 10K miles when you traded it in and I’m looking for a little bit of advice.. I was looking at getting an Ultimate just as yourself however someone listed a 17 trail 5 months ago for sale that looks to be in good condition but it has 10K miles and I think I may be able to get it for a very good deal.. do you have any recommendations or things I should look out for on a machine at that mileage? It’s a single owner and seems to be taken care of.. you were just the first person that came to mind to get in contact with regarding it since you were in such a similar situation. I might be able to get the trail for $12K less than I could get an Ultimate for which makes much more financial sense to me, I just want to make sure I don’t get something that’s on its last leg..

      It’s hard to say specifically only I would say that a record of regular maintenance would be important. Also making sure no important systems were modified then look it ofer for suspension damage or corrosion. I spoke with the guy who bought my old one from the dealer and it had a couple of problems either I didn’t notice or the dealer caused. A front A-arm had a crack and one of the brake lines had been chafing on the riveted holder on the A-arm and he lost brake pressure. Sorry it took a while to get back to you. It should drive smoothly and without really loud sounds if it’s in good condition and there shouldn’t be much, if any, white oil smoke coming out of the exhaust. It should track straight and brake straight and the clutches should be in good order…not jerking when it comes to a stop or off the line and easy to shift into and out of the gears. There shouldn’t be any play in the steering wheel or in the wheels themselves. Kind of like a regular car but look at it closely for broken or obviously worn out parts. Might be worth paying for a dealer inspection too.
