We take ours's when traveling to distant places around the country where we will be staying for a week or more. Not having to go out and use a "community" grill at a resort or out in the cold weather makes it worth it.

Enjoyed your review. I have the HSN version of this product. It has 1500 watts and digital temperature control and is very accurate. My griddle is flat, no texture. The grilling surface looks similar to yours.
A tip to facilitate easy clean up spray the catch tray with "PAM" . This makes cleaning much easier.
I use mine daily. Love it.

I LOVE OURS. We've made bacon and eggs, french toast, we've had Italian sausage, another night pork chops, since the day after Christmas :) Thing is, here in northern Central NY, we get "Heavy" snow. Very hard to BBQ in the winter. Our Power Smokeless Grill is worth it. And Jeff,,, you need to be patient. While cooking your meats on this, go prepare your sides like potatoes and vegies, etc. Don't stand over them. Just give them a peak every now and then. Everything I've made on the grill so far are perfect. :) Oh and by the way,,,,, in Our town,,, and my generation,,, our pancakes are bigger. I'de get 2 on there LOL ;)

Hey, small world. I grew up in Western New York so I am no stranger to snow storms. This item is a great way to extend the bbq season. I like the unit but you're right it does take a little longer to cook. PS I like my pancakes big too. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

When you are removing cord from unit hold fingers on base plug just don't pull or your going to rip plug out. It works but its reall no big deal and even with dishwasher all the grooves don't get clean on the plates going to need a brush. Don't forget to add water to bottom pan, it catches the grease even in smoke. Yes it takes little longer but that helps tenderizing the meat, slow cooking.

remember the outside grill is not temp dependent(unless you have a Traeger grill) . It gets as hot as it will. Your smokeless grill can only go to 450 temp. The new one of these is on sale for $80 and has a lid that you do not have to find someplace to store while tending to you cooking. Still worth it. Also I would line the catch try with aluminum foil to make clean up much easier and poke holes in for the smoke extraction. Just saying . I just might get this new version. Nice video though.
