Coco butter was the go to cream for black people especially when I was growing up and I think they have changed the formula a lot

I use the palmers cocoa butter fragrance free version on my face and it's totally fine. I have a very acne prone ,sensitive, easily clogged face. I do not think cocobutter clogs pores. Africans use shea and cocoa butters directly on the skin without problems.

I love your videos! As a person of colour, I find it very helpful. Could you please review 'PCA Skin'? They're an American brand however their products are accessible in the UK (my dermatologist recommends them all the time). In particular, it would be useful to know info about their brightening products such as their retinol for sensitive skin, 'clear skin' moisturizer etc.
The period this is so real I watched dr Alexis video a few months ago about the cycle and acne and when I say it helped me drastically I haven’t had. Cystic bump since I adjusted
Dr.V thank you for talking about the importance of avoiding fragrance, I had a surgery last year for my lung and I have been using creams, shower gels all the products that has fragrance on my surgical scar and every single night I had severe itchy feeling and have been having a very hard time not understanding the reason for it but i have switched all my products for non fragrance products you have suggested like cerave, sanex etc., that feeling stopped and the scar area has been feeling much better. thank you genuinely!
Dr Rattan, lots of people are pushing back on that glycolic acid story. All I know is that it was incredibly irritating for my skin and Mandelic acid is not. I'll stick with your recommendation of gentler AHAs like mandelic acid which has been great for me.

You need to take care- the body surface area is much larger. You need one formulated for the body area.

Been using oil version of palmer with retinol 4 days now and so far my skin is doing great. It has a very faint rosehip scent as well. I mostly apply it on pitted scars on cheeks.

Hi Please would you do a video on the step by step routine for Paulas choice for acne and pigmentation I have purchased several products but not sure how to use they say use vit c during the day but I’m not so sure as you have recommended using at night, I have the 3% retinol +2% Baku holi and the super antioxidant concentrate with retinol also have the daily skin clearing treatment azelaic acid .also the kit for dark circles I have pigmentation from years of eczema and dry skin which when dry is very itchy now I have combatted that by using cereve eye cream which was recommended in one of your videos would I be a candidate for using the kit without having any reactions.

That line is sooo good. I'm using the soon Jung emulsion and it soothed my skin so we'll. If you have oily skin or combo skin u can use the emulsion and if you have dry skin the intensive barrier repair cream so chefs kiss.
