You most definitely set a PERFECT EXAMPLE! INCREDIBLE! My question is how a "young"beautiful girl like you knows so many of Chet Atkins tunes? A lot of those were around since the 50's or early 60's... Great work! 💖💖💖💖💖
That was incredible! Without the visual someone could've told me it was a Chet Atkins recording and I would have readily believed it. Great taste in guitars too, I love the color of your Gretsch and I love Guilds. You earned a subscription from me!
Super cool I’m learning this tune and it’s driving me bonkers in the head 😀😀I can play ordinary fingerstyle but the boom chick is hard to get steady under the melody!! My god u have it nailed super super job any tips would be appreciated!! Brian Ireland 🇮🇪 also windy and warm is driving me mad 😠😂😂😂take care Kate
I hope you can help. I am new to Chet Atkins style and spent Jan thru June learning Windy & Warm. So, I've spent the summer now working on this tune. I am missing the certainty of what 4 of the chords are in the first part. Here is what I am missing / hearing: C - E - Am - ??? - F - ??? - C - A7 - D/F# - ??? - ??? Would you please fill in the ??? and correct anything I might be hearing wrongly? I love this song. It's my favorite of the old Chet/Jerry tunes and I like your choice of chords from the many I have listened to on UA-cam. You sound very true to the original and play so smooth. I have watched all of your videos many times each. Thank you for posting them. It is so helpful for someone trying to learn. Thanks so much if you can help.
I'm glad you've started learning Chet, and that my videos can be of use! The progression is as follows: C - E - Am - C9 (the added A note creates a C13) - F - Fm - C - A7 - D/F# - G7 (Chet had a unique way of playing G7, hopefully it's easy to see from the video). Then it repeats. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching, and have fun pickin' Chet and Jerry!
Hi , just a question How did you learned the boom chic technique with your thumb , just from the tab or your thumb should be indépendant from the other fingers and it s need practice ?
Wow, I have a new guitar hero. I've been watching your videos for over an hour now. Do you play, using your fingernails, or bare fingers, on your right hand? I only have 2 files on UA-cam, but check out my version of "Twelve Weeks at Sea," if you have time. I tried to create a Chet Atkins sound, using a baritone ukulele.
Thanks, Frank! I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. I play with just my fingertips, though at times my nails are longer and can be heard on the M and A fingers. I'll definitely check out your videos. Thanks for the comment!
This is my favorite one of Chets tunes. My brother will play at sometimes And it just brightens the room.

Georgia camp meeting by Paul yandell/chet atkins can you do that one ? The Main video on that is paul yandell' s version
Thanks for the suggestion, Layton! Coincidentally, I was actually planning on recording that one next. Hope to have it up in the coming week or two.
Check Tunes always sound the best on a Gretsch guitar
Wonderful picking. Maybe we'll see you Downunder sometime. :)
Chet would be pleased, I think.
Wow. You play with such fluidity for your age. I look forward to you seeing you more from you.
you haven`t posted anything lately I hope you`re still picking
Not bad
