Thank you originally I was going to have it in the oil change video but then decided to just separate it as im sure many would just like to know how to reset it. Glad i did it that way
@@Oceanstole_SoulI believe its the same not much has changed on the bike besides fairing colors. but if i do come across a 24 model i will check on that.
since I was in the factory service mode , if you have any codes thats where it will pop up. C (code) then the # (number) of the issue. since I didnt have any current codes it shows as C 00.
it may come up but you wont be able to change the settings unless you bough the bike used and the previous owner modified the cable back there so they didn't have to use a jumper wire to get into the settings.
Awesome video very simple and to the point 🔥🔥🔥

thank you so much / from australia !!!
your very welcome =)
I bought a OBD 2 scanner for my GSXS 1000. First oil change is due in less than 100 miles. I can do it with that right?
Yes you can change the oil before it’s due, just make sure you go into the settings on the bike to change the oil reminder
Did you do your first oil change at 1,000 miles?
@@Chad_Thundercock_ ya I went over as I was on a motorcycle trip and couldn’t do it On the 600 mile mark
You only have to do this for the initial service change because it’s locked from the dealership? Or every time?
every time you do your oil change as there is a count down on it.
@@ACProductions77 this the same for the 24’ model? Plugs different isn’t it?
@@Oceanstole_SoulI believe its the same not much has changed on the bike besides fairing colors. but if i do come across a 24 model i will check on that.
Would an oil change needed be cause for check engine light flashing ?
if you have a check engine light flashing then its not cuz of the oil , its for something else.
@@ACProductions77 thanks for reply. Light went away.
You ever find out what it was?
what is that COO code there ?
since I was in the factory service mode , if you have any codes thats where it will pop up. C (code) then the # (number) of the issue. since I didnt have any current codes it shows as C 00.
Why do u have to do it this way? Cant reset without doing it this way? I'm curious.
there is no other way to get into the service setting without having the special tool from suzuki, so this is the most simple but effective method.
Can you change the yr please
i dont think its possible to change the yr of the bike on the service menu. you can only select the yr for your next service.
My service menu comes up without shorting the plug
it may come up but you wont be able to change the settings unless you bough the bike used and the previous owner modified the cable back there so they didn't have to use a jumper wire to get into the settings.
