Chanel's strength to speak up about her story helps to shift perspectives about assault and victimhood, and more importantly, it evidences the inadequate way courtrooms deal with cases like hers.

The body keeps the score. I love how she said she’s got 400 pages of memories to drop on them. Way to go Chanel Miller. You are a woman warrior.

amazing. i’m so glad those seats were filled and she’s here to tell her story and we’re listening. the way she tells her story and perspective is so visceral. i appreciate her so much as a survivor and an artist and writer. what a talent and what a human. so much love for her.

Watching her has been therapy for me today. There are assaults that occurred decades ago that can get no justice.

Chanel, thank you for all your hard work, soft work, hidden walks and shining walks to get to this space where we could share our respect and admiration for you. Finally, this highly publicised case has its true testimony and face. I was shocked by all the aspects the media carried about your case. I knew so much was missing, and you have allowed me to believe that there is care and hope after trauma. Thank you for taking all the time you needed before stepping into public view and holding our hearts, our collective wounded hearts, so compassionately in your being and your creativity. Thank you from my heart to your family

The interviewer seems to forget that this is the story about Miss Miller. And she keeps injected "I think" "I like" which led you to hear more about the interviewer's view. I could not articulate what I went thru. Listening to Miss Miller, I realised that wow how I felt & acted did fit with her description that I was experiencing trauma. Miss Miller is a great communicator.
