25 years old turkish woman here! Always enjoyed basketball but was never following the nba due to time difference. Thanks to alpi now I am always watching game recaps, sometimes even waking up at 5 am to watch games live, following many houston rockets related podcasters and even joining twitter spaces to listen to what the 'bros' say 😂 you have a really nice community that always teaches me new things and cracks me up😂 thanks for all the excitement and fun😊 rooting for a bright future for alpi & houston, wishing you the best!

Anything other than Sengul-oriented gameplay is merely a hypothesis of impending doom...Also, I've been tuning into numerous Rocket/NBA podcasts lately, and I must say, you two are nailing it. Your analysis is superb, far more insightful than most out there. I had this observation before you even mentioned the argument about whom to build the team around. As you pointed out, Jalen needs to discover his identity. If he can do that, he has the potential to transform into a great player. Self-awareness and understanding one's strengths and weaknesses are essential for personal and professional growth in sports, especially team-sports. And yeah, I forgot to mention, you're funny too. Not every smart person is necessarily funny, but being funny definitely requires intelligence.

Great Pod. The 2 of you have developed a unique chemistry and ability to deliver great insight. I'm impressed. The homeless, bentley comment was off the chain. Lol funny. I... like you was impressed with Udoka's comments. I have no doubt we have the right coach. I agree with you Frank. Everyone seems to think all is lost this season, but there is still much to play for. I think the biggest thing we will have gained by season''s end is we will have a pretty good idea what we have talent wise. Having Udoka as coach has exposed some and elavated others, however at least we now know what we're working with. I also agree who the Rockets should be building around is an easy call at this point. Sengun is clearly our best player at this point. I still believe Jaylen and Jabari are our biggest disapointments

Ironically when Roosh was talking about a guy that can score 15/16 points that can shoot 12 shots I thought about Grayson Allen 😅. The dude a free agent but he having a career year so a lot of teams are going to go after him so might be hard to get him.
I know he has the reputation as a dirty player but at this point we need shooting regarding his reputation.
But regardless this was a great video fellas. I do agree the rockets need to pick a direction on what they wanted to do if they want to build around Sengun get shooters. If you want a guard centric offense you trade Sengun and Jalen Green. Go all in on like Trae Young or Mitchell and get a rim running big and do that.
This summer is huge for Stone he has to figure out a direction and he has to fix and improve this roster. If he can’t do that then he pretty much gone after next year

That center might be Ömer Faruk from Utah Jazz. The dude is a solid defender, has silky hands around the rim, great post player, has 3 point shooting, good blocker, great rebounding, good fundementals. Don't look at the fact that he is no:3 in JAZZ centers, he could't get a solid spot up to now due to the fact that he was undrafted and came from G-legue. Remember the stretch he had in Miami when Bam injured. Dude needs minutes. If he gets Landale minutes he is exactly what Sengun is not. Another positive side is they play together in Turkish national team and he is extremely cheap for that quality.

Why do you think Stone gave up two 1st round picks to get him? You really think Jackson is some great insider? gezzz...gawd clueless. Just because if Lopez was on the team doesn't mean Sengun would be sitting on the bench. 2 games and now you guys are sold on Sengun...talk about lack of understanding. Sengun is and has been growing into a superstar NBA center that will rival Hakeem as the Rockets' GOAT. He is still younger than Hakeem as a rookie.

On defense Sengun's shot blocking & rebounding positioning along with more active hands has Hakeem written all over it. The Rockets' would not be investing the money to pay Hakeem and Hakeem would not waste his time if they didn't know what kind of player they have in Sengun.

Alperen plays in a team that cannot shoot. Even with "completely open" three-point shots, the team can't make a shot. Apart from Alperen, the team is breaking the assist spending record. Comments and perspectives such as "Young team, we need some time, it will get better" are extremely wrong. Houston Rockets need to make this decision: "Are we going to build a team around ALPEREN, or are we going to wait for the young guys to develop?" ... THOMPSON, who is considered the best among young players, has a three-point percentage of 14... But he has a game without the ball. He's trying. Jabari Smith thinks he's an incredible shooter. He waits where he is on the field. He is neither a good shooter nor a player without the ball... The team cannot make "completely empty three-pointer shots".Jalen Green; His three-point percentage was 20.6 percent until yesterday's match... And he still continues to attempt three-point shots, as long as don't take him to the bench. He made over 50 percent three-pointers in just 10 games. Either ice or flame. But in those 10 games, the ROCKETS only won 5. In all five of these matches, ROCKETS won the home game. The teams they beat were Pistons, Hornets, Suns, Lakers, and Sacramento. The interesting thing is that while beating these teams, all of the teams were missing important players. In other words, they have not beaten any team as a full squad. Houston Rockets, needs to take action to find the right pieces around Alperen. HOUSTON manager sat out trade season. The PLAYOFFs ran away. My personal opinion, ALPEREN should meet with his manager and go to a good team

@@betfonte3366 but you rather build around a Center who can't shoot on a consistent level, and can't protect the paint? At least with Amen I'm getting all class Defense, can start fast breaks, he provides everything Sengun does on offense as far as the area they score the most plus he not dependent on a pick and roll to get the ball. Amen can be more closer to Gianni's than by the way they score and can't shoot vs Sengun can be closer to Jokic...

@@djmill8000 1. I am a jalen green fan 2. Sengun is a franchise player like green cuz they r offensive powerhouses. 3. Other franchise players are not good defenders like joker or curry or luca. 4. Was there ever a frachise player aside from giannis who was a great defender but only knows how to dunk and layup? 5. U cant make a player a good perimeter shooter if they never had it in their arsenal to begin with, otherwise this league will all have very good shooters.. The only chance amen will be a franchise player is if he grows as big and tall as the greek freak and plays like him too🤣
