For me a good pair of earbuds is the perfect tool for gym motivation, I just wear mine and I already want to workout. A good pair of earbuds immerses you into the music like nothing else, it's constant motivation you always upbeat. Don't need to be those over 100 bucks (I own a pair of Trainebuds and I love those). It was the best thing I did for my workout consistency and intensity.
...and years later when the roids and hormones wear off....like Coleman? All of them, the greats, were beat the hell down years later in their life? Is it worth it to shine for a moment, cause that shit is garbage for the time you relish in it... or do you choose the long run, take your time and be platinum? So choose?

Also natural athletes benefit more from training each muscle more than once per week. In athletes taking PED's, protein synthesys lasts way longer, that's why pro bodybuilders can train each musle once per week and still grow well.

If I get to sore I take a couple days off but I do a 3 day, chest tri, arms back abs, legs, so everything gets 2 days rest. Bit honestly I love being at gym its therapy lol. Going on 4 years now.

We all need to understand the line, that Dorian led many years ago - train each muscle once a week, but train it to the limits and little beyond. You need to observe your body status so you could measure the best period to take a rest, may be 6 or 8 days to recover, it depends on your nutrition, sleep and other body loads between trainings. It is simple - train, eat and sleep hard, keep your state of mind clear and free of worries. And most important - don't follow some illusion dreams at any costs, only a few can be mr. O.
@@thardyryll Yes, for a natty athlete this rule doesn't apply. If you are natty the protein synthesis in the muscle you've trained is active for around max 72 hours. A one week rest is to long in this case. If you are on gear your protein synthesis runs 24/7, so one max effort per week seals the deal.
