i saw the S24U AND iphone pro max in the store, the iphone was brighter, the interface was sharper and the apple color spectrum was way better, and ive been with android since smart phones cames out... (S20 here) just saying IMO

I’ve said this last year that my battery health on my 14 pro max is depleting way faster than my 11 pro max. I’m so disgusted in Apple and it makes me not want to ever buy another Apple product. This phone was literally made to last a year or two and that’s it. Shame on apple. I’m so tired of planned obsolescence

My iPhone XS Max, used more than 5 years, battery health is now at 83%.😢

@@mhaqqi2555 I had fast charging on my 11 pro max and in fact still use the 11 pro max charger since the 14 comes without one. Its not the fast charging but the cheaper battery cells Apple decided to use

Why would you need a capture button? Doesn't vol up and down take pictures?
it will be capacitive so swiping left and right on it can change the zoom and a light press will make it focus, kinda like normal cameras

I have a 12 pro max and I was told I could get $800 towards a 15 pro max. I think youll be ok. I am going to get the 16 pro max and then buy whichever that next model is 4-5 years later.

The capture button is such an incredible waste of space internally and makes it look ugly on the outside. I HIGHLY doubt anybody under the age of 55 is going to use it regularly

Unpopular opinion: I don't care much for thinner bezels around the screen, they're already too thin. If my phone is caseless, which I like to do sometimes, it is really hard to use my phone without getting random touches on the edge of the screen from just my hand holding it.
Im unironically looking forward to those thinner bezels . 15 Pro max was a very noticeable uograde

I did a google search for “iPhone 15 pro magnetic back plate” and found it. It’s called the NOMAD magnetic leather back.
Just dropped my 14 from legit 3 feet with a case , a strong hard plastic case and yet the back completely shattered.. now I’m looking at how thin the back glass is .. lol it’s hair line thin, probably thinner than that
I’ve gotten every big phone since the xs max. But I don’t think imma upgrade my 15 pro max anytime soon. I don’t want a bigger phone the regular pro may be the way to go moving forward

So if the batteries of iPhone 14 and 15 are that cheap, why Apple is saying that iPhone 15 is lasting for 1000 cycles (and further iPhones just 500 at 80% maximum capacity)?
Bazel thinning will only cause more accidental pressing of the screen which is already annoying

As for battery life issues with the iPhone 14 and 15, my iPhone 14 Pro is now 15+ months old, and the battery condition is still at 100%. Why? Well, I never fast charge it. I always use either a 12 watt charger or even the little 5 watt cube that came with older iPhones.
I am skipping the iPhone 15 Pro-Max while waiting for the iPhone 16 Pro-Max-Bigger (whatever they call it). The island at the top of the view screen has never been a problem for me.
What about the ai features bro?? Will there be ai features in iphone 16 series? Like like live call translation etc..
If they give us 100x zoom I will upgrade

I was hoping for more since the SIRI is going to get a huge update probably with advanced features for the new phones and I only have a 12 Mini. But I might just have to settle.
Of course anything to prevent people from using the same case for the phone…
I am currently rocking a 12 pro max. I like to buy the newest phone cash every 4-5 years. I used to buy the cheaper phone that was 3-4 years old and they fry out in a year. End up buying a year up every year. Found it much easier to buy the brand new one and rock it for 4-5 years. I think the 16 pro max will be my upgrade this september. I will keep my 12 pro max as well.

I have a paid off s24U. I'm excited what the next iphone will bring . I love how the competition is pushing one another. I'll be deciding on purchasing between the next iphone or the s25U when the the S25U is released. Gotta see who is gonna out do who.

When I flew to Florida for work the pilot announced Samsung note 7 are banned on planes or has to be completely turned off. Right after that announcement, I pulled out my samsung and told the people I sat next to "oh shit guys I have the note 7" . And they busted out laughing 😂. I told them JK right after.

Curious to know that batteries are of the same crap level on iPhone 14 and 15, when my experience with the 15 has been AGES better than the 14.
I am a really light user, never in my life has an iPhone went lower than 99% during the first year of usage, and my 14 PM was at 92% after a year, even tho I switched to a S23 Ultra for about 4 months 💀
mannnnn efff apple.. with the price they charge the battery shoud have been the best quality possible.. i will be holding onto my 13 pm much longer than expected
I actually used to use my phone 14 pro quite a lot (watch some videos, play some games) and my battery went from 100% to 97 then 96 and then 95 in 3 months 💀 I had enough sold that sht and got a second handed 13pm (after 7 months only lost 2% from 95 to 93 😂) and it’s basically the same phone, the Dynamic Island I meant the useless island is not worth it a lot.
I’m kind of happy the under screen Face ID is getting pushed out to the 18 pro so I can buy & keep the 16 pro for 2 years instead of buying yearly

You can! Use Fjorden or another camera app to be able to adjust shutter speed etc. To take pics of the moon, make sure it’s as zoomed in as possible, in focus, and have she shutter speed at the lowest possible, like 1/20000 bc the moon is very bright

I predict that the capacitive Capture button will be problematic for users who slap a case on the phone. The case cannot cover the button and a cutout for the button may hinder effective use of the button unless the cutout is big. A big cutout will be butt-ugly.

Hole punch camera makes little sense in light of the Dynamic Island.
So I guess this 16 pro max would be the best upgrade for my 13 pro max and then hold it for two years for the hole punch design screen in ‘26 for the 18 series 😁🤷🏻♂️🫡😵💫

I dont think there will be a capture button because when you hold it with right hand, the palm under your thumb will always be pressing the capture button. It is impractical.
