    Misses happen... bad hits happen.....lost animals happen...... Nature is much more cruel than most have any idea. Live or die no animal goes to waste in the woods...... We are part of nature...... As long as we do everything we feel we can to make the best shots we can we need to hold our heads high with that knowledge..... live and learn from every thing we do :) Another great vid guys! Thank you :)

      Exactly. People have no idea. I lived in the high dessert of Wyoming. Brutal winters but the poaching would make you ill. Everytime out snowmobiling we would come across headless bulls and bucks . Just absolute waste and disrespect in so many ways. A wounded animal is also mild in comparison to big game slaughtered on highways in big migration zones where it hasnt been addressed. Utah is horrible for this and Wyoming used to be bad but Wyoming stepped up and put in high fences and crossing areas to keep them from getting killed

    I appreciate the way BRO goes about their business. Your first class hunters, sportsman and all around great people. Your success through social media will eventually draw in the “arm chair hunters” who will never admit their misses and/or non lethal hits. Keep the faith and stay above the negativity.

    I had a shot in AZ this year that had the same result as B-Mack. I watched this with my wife tonight and her response was holy cow that was just like the shot at your bull. I will re-live that moment the rest of my days. Thanks for sharing your journey.

    Personally I am thankful for the reality of your content. The good, the bad, and the ugly. It's all the real deal. Please don't feel like you have to suppress the bad. It's part of hunting. It's why I love your content. I have learned so much from y'all. Thank you!!!

  • @Randy_Savage_ohyeah

    Damn! BMack that was sooo close!! I know Trev got some hate from yesterday's episode and I guess it kinda comes with the territory when showing the good, bad, ugly on a format that allows folks to easily comment. People are hyper sensitive to the wounding of animals especially when they feel things maybe could have been done better. But, as you mentioned the discussion is good and I think we all learn a little bit from the situation. Just hope you all don't take some of it too personally as I want you to continue to show everything good of bad...that's what makes your videos so good.

    You BRO's are Awesome! You can tell that what you show on camera is what your going to get if we were to meet you on the street. Yet because of what you are publishing on youtube you are putting everything about you up for supportive and critical view points. I am glad for so much support of your program. I am sorry that Trevor got so many negative comments yesterday. He was living in the moment and took a shot that he felt he was capable of taking. I have seen you guys shoot eggs from ungodly distances! Your skill levels are elite. And I am glad you mentioned that his angle was not the same as the camera's just as B-mac was to the left of the camera today and his angle on the bull was much different than the camera that made his shot more difficult than what was portrayed. Thanks for what you guys do, and thanks for being real!

  • @tysonpierce2690

    Y’all did great. Yesterday and today. Trevor still needs to hunt for sure. Bull didn’t die. You worked hard to find him. Love the series and all you all are doing.

  • @waynewinchell3064
    @waynewinchell3064 5 років тому +2

    As far as Trevor's shot, at first I questioned the angle. However, my view was that of the camera man and with the benefit of hindsight. The reality is that Trevor had a better angle and was in the heat of the moment. An arrow can't be taken back after it is fired. It appeared that every effort was made to recover the bull. Last week I made my first poor shot in 15 years and shoulder hit a buck. While searching for him I passed chip shots on two monsters. In the end I believe my buck lived. Had the shot at the two monsters come the next day after I was confident my buck lived, I would have shot one of them. So Trever, keep on keepin' on and let the critiques roll off your shoulders. Many others would have done the same as you. Great show guys! So close on the arrow deflected shot.

    I would like to point out that Cody HAS A TAG. He spent $700 and change on a tag and is not even carrying a bow. Thats committment to your hunting brothers. Putting others first.

    • @derekoneill9191
      @derekoneill9191 5 років тому

      Incorrect. Only one of the BRO team is hunting each state. Trevor has Montana. Cody hunts Idaho.

    • @TheIowaXperience

      @@derekoneill9191, No, he said in a previous episode that he has a Montana tag. He jokes about it being a donation to the state.

    • @derekoneill9191
      @derekoneill9191 5 років тому +1

      @@TheIowaXperience I didn't hear that, and he might have said it, but I'm just saying don't give him too much credit for not carrying a bow. The plan was for each of them to hunt one state and they said that multiple times.

    • @TheIowaXperience
      @TheIowaXperience 5 років тому +6

      @@derekoneill9191
      Regardless of the plan, I give a person credit for putting others first. Let's say he didn't have a tag, even then I give him insane credit for going out there, grinding through the mountains everyday in hopes that your friend can get an elk. Knowing that you will not be the one pulling the trigger but staying positive and encouraging your brother. These boys have my respect, and a little bit of admiration. So, no, I dont agree with you at all saying I should dial it back.

    Man, that is tough.... being close to the same age and retired Army, I can understand, the struggles of leaving a brotherhood after so many years and not knowing what your purpose is. Us, Veterans need to be able to share, be vulnerable, stay in touch with other military/veterans to include let the general public in on who you are and what you have done and are going through. The people who haven’t served for the most part don’t understand and won’t until we can give them insight and open up to them. My heart and prayers go out to him and his family. Rest In Peace Sergeant Major!🇺🇸

    Trevor made a fantastic shot...that’s hunting and in a split of the second the bull moved. No one would have predicted that in a 100 shots. You guys are amazing. I have been archery hunting for 5 years and have yet to harvest a big game animal. It has been those inches. Almost filled both tags opening day this year, but game of inches. Keep up the good work. You guys have inspired me to keep going.

  • @dublelung1
    @dublelung1 5 років тому

    The quickest elk archery kill I've seen on UA-cam was a frontal shot by a young teenager and I don't think it's possible to kill any quicker than what that elk died. Bowhunting is a game of inches, and one person's ethical shot may not be so for the next bowhunter. Each hunter has to make his/her own mind up about what shot they're willing to take and they have to live with the results of that shot regardless of whether it's good or bad. I'm really enjoying this whole series and wishing you all continued luck and success.

    I left you guys a comment on the 17th about a challenge you guys should do, that got started by Haze Outdoors about men's mental health called "show us your steak". I think you guys have an amazing channel and it's a great platform that reaches a wide variety of people. All you have to do is cook a steak a steak in the outdoors and say a few words about mental health which is hard for most people to talk about. You guys have cried on camera and showed a lot of young boys that it's ok, that real men can cry. As a woman, I appreciate that because I am raising 3 boys myself and they need to be taught things like that from other men. I hope this message reaches you guys. Happy Holidays.

    Clean miss for Brian. Tough one but dang Montana is so much more crazy than Colorado.
    As far as the haters with Treavor’s bull, they can kick rocks. It’s an unfortunate situation that will happen to everyone at some point, if it hasn’t happened to them yet it will. Not every shot is going to be perfect. We can not control what the animals do after we’ve released the arrow. I probably would have taken the same shot as Treavor did.

I can only imagine the added pressure to “perform” and show successful results, but I count my blessings that I’m successful whether I get a bull or not! Being out there...you know what I mean! I’ve had numerous years without getting my bull, but my lucky years have been sure shots, perfect setup’s, or foregoing the risks in respect of the elk, (whom we all love), and expect to eat the bitter Tag Sandwich!! Game of inches. Love the positivity and support in your group. So much negativity out there. Thanks to the family who lost a member this last summer. People that serve are heroes and have my respect, if you need help reach out to those around you.

    Hang in there guys. With your fame will come those who don't understand and want to tear you down. Just remember all of us who do understand and love what your doing. I really appreciate you showing the bad, it reminds me that I'm not the only hunter who makes mistakes.

    I think Kody summed it up pretty well that if we learned something from Trevor's experience, good or bad, then it is worth putting out there. Almost always can't go wrong with staying positive! #positivity

    Bmac tuff break man . You'll be seeing that over and over in your head for awhile ! And a clean miss is so much easier to live with than a wounded bull . Another awesome video guys

    Gentleman love these shows and look forward to them each night. There is a difference on being aggressive on the stalks and making stuff happen on getting the bulls in range and forcing shots that need a few more seconds to develop. Please next season enjoy the hunts live up the experiences but please be patient with your shot choices

    Keep up the solid work fellas. The commitment and motivation you guys put this LOTF project together is admirable. Regarding Trevor's shot on that bull...let the comments roll off and good on you guys for showing what can happen. He's likely arrowed more bulls than some of the folks replying have even seen in the wild. Passing judgement on making the split second decision during crunch time is easy to do behind a keyboard:)
