      Thanks bud, it's really a super innovative idea by Bally / Midway. I'm not sure how far I'm going to go with the restoration. It's mostly the pinball section that needs a tune up. It's uncharted waters for me but I'm looking forward to doing it. Thanks so much for watching my friend!

Finally got to play this crazy pinball machine that’s standing upright and is circus themed, if anyone knows which one I’m talking about? Even got to see the original Jurassic Park and Super Mario World machines (out of order unfortunately) but this is probably one of the most unique machines I’ve seen! Thanks for sharing this piece of history!

    I'm a guy that definitely racked up hundreds of arcade hours growing up during the 80s and I remember this game always being around. The odd thing about it is that it was always left alone and very few played it. I played it a few times and I guess what didn't click was that playing the pinball side of the game felt too awkward due to the small setting. If they had made it a regular size pinball game with a screen to play Pac-Man, I'm sure it would've been a bigger hit.

    @Retro Ralph,
    I remember playing Baby Pac-Man in the arcade (a Showbiz Pizza joint if memory servers correctly). It was an absolute quarter-muncher, but I always loved the video/pinball hybrid model. Baby Pac-Man was also superior to another hybrid called Granny & The Gators.
    Since my hopes of ever owning (and having to maintain!) one of these machines is something left to only the wealthiest of individuals, I am more than happy converting an ALP running the VPX version of the table with good accuracy. What's more, the 3/4 scale of the ALP is perfect for running this pint-sized game!
    Congratulations on the acquisition and look forward to more videos covering this cabinet.
    Cheers,
    Brent

    Ralph reads off systems that the vidiot replacement board supports "Woooo-oooo".....
    * realizes moments afterward that he invested in the wrong hardware.

    Thanks for posting this. I heard about this game when I was a teen, but never saw it. I heard some weird thing about it being a video game and a pinball game. It was all true! :)
    I'm surprised by the video game part, because the graphics for the ghosts look more primitive than they were for Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man. They remind me of what the 8-bit ports of Pac Man looked like.

    Awesome pickup, happy for you! I need to get my Holy Grail list down to plan for room still. KI, DK, DK JR are definitely on it, but a few other's for sure could make the list like Time Crisis or 2, Cruisin' maybe.

    Sorta neat. I use to love Pacman Pinball. This is like a miniature version that plays a bit different.

    Baby Pac Man was a rare bird to find in the wild. I only ever saw it one time at my local Chuck E. Cheese.

    Altek MPU is a good product, however, you can snip the Battery on the MPU and replace it with a Remote Battery to keep from getting acid all over you MPU and Vidiot Board. The Large Cap on the Power Supply will need to be replaced too. I think Vidiot board was only used on BPM and Granny-and-they-Gators. I have a NOS (10/10) GLASS "Marquee" for Baby Pac-Man (from back in the days when I was hard-core into Pinballs and collected Back Glasses to hang on my walls for decorations). Let me know if you or someone you know is interested in it (to restore a BPM).

    Baby Pac is awesome!! Super fun game, rare find. With all the pac man that Arcade1up produces, do you think there is a Baby Pac man on the way? 🤔

      I mean, there is a MAME version of the game so it's possible to make a "digital version". It would be really interested to see if they tackle it. They could try to license the other game like this as well. Granny and the Gators is another Hybrid game. Thanks for watching!

    Love BPM. I have had mine a few years now and almost have it done. I have a restored and cleared playfield and lots of new parts. Only thing left is the cabinet needs some TLC. I almost purchased Granny and The Gators to have the pair but backed out.
