    He should write a book about the company's history from the beginning to the end so that the information will not be lost

      Hi Felicia the host here,
      Mike has written a book about the product that covers the history of the man and the process.
      Charles Goodyear, the inventor, did not have a company, he licensed the product to manufacturers.
      The Goodyear company, as Mike mentioned, was not related to hard rubber or India rubber. They just used his name honorarily.

    They stole his patents then they stole his name.

      If the company was founded in 1898 it's pretty unlikely Goodyear's patents were still around to be stolen.
