I WISH PEOPLE DID THIS ON DEFAULT LIKE IT’S SO SWEET TO JUST TRY TO GET THINGS RIGHT
Never have had anyone ask me that except on a zoom meeting g
I wish my life was so easy that my biggest problem was the pronouns strangers used to address me
I mean, they is a neutral grammatical term, it doesn’t have to be something everyone cares about, it’s aight if you don’t wanna be called your original sex, but they is literally a term used for referring to either groups of people, or a vague term, if you don’t know there gender, or are tired of saying one word
honestly when the whole thing with pronouns started I was like 🙄🙄, but now I understand how important it is to address someone with their preferred pronouns after discovering my self expression and stuff. Thanks for making this kind of content❤❤ slay mamas
Do these people not realize how crazy this is?
THEY DONT!!! its scary.
Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
Just started using she/they pronouns ! Let the chaos ensue lol
In the north of England we say they and them interchangeably.
for someone named andie that uses these pronouns I feel fantastic
I can finally imagine my mom isn't transphpbic
I know this is how my mum would be if I ever told her!
It's kinda annoying when people specifically use one set of pronouns for you even when you say you prefer another :/
Happens to me all the time
*INHALE* OH GOD- I CAN'T ID BE CONFUSED BUT CATCH ON RIGHT AWAY AND SAY SORRY FOR NO REASON
Pronouns are dumb. I’m sorry but it’s male or female to me.
Cis people use pronouns as well.
?
For me when people use she/they pronouns I just use she and then I say them as a replacement for her it helps me use these pronouns for someone easier while still respecting their pronouns! I use this same way for he/they pronouns to! Hope this can help anyone who is confused.
Im confused and how people started this. Pronouns? I’m just curious
I've been waiting on that answer as well.
Started around 2nd century Bce I think when people got tired of using a persons name over and over again but that might vary from language to language
I get that a lot people always ask what I go by cuz I’m a Demi girl and go by she/ they pronouns
I'm gonna call you whatever pronoun I see fit.
Thelma is stressed:D
The stupidity of today’s youth at its finest
Lol, when my friend group at school was just getting to know each other one of us just yelled pronoun check and we started to make a beat and went around in a circle sharing our pronouns
Y’all some weirdos
?
me and my she/they pronouns lol
Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
Imagine being ok with she but when someone calls you a her you just get absolutely livid lmao. How can people take this seriously
Well, no. She/they pronouns imply her/their and herself/themself pronouns.
Lmao.
Imagine not understanding the pronouns.
@@chirpsqueakmeow first of all, wrong they’re. Their is possessive. 2nd of all, if her is implied, then thats just being a normal human being and making your pronouns she/they is pointless because a lot of the time people will use the word “they” occasionally to refer to someone. For someone who is obsessed with pointless reference labels you sure don’t pay attention to the english language.
lmao.
@@J4CKS0N_D34R3ST imagine thinking I care. Most of this pronoun shit is pointless because the idea was for them to be biological and your gender does equal your personality so you don’t have to start making a pokedex of different gender and pronoun types just because someone is quirky its 2022 gender roles are supposed to be eliminated from society so stop giving a fuck about gender and pronouns.
@@cabin_ot bro...."her" is possessive, are you for real right now lmao
she/they:
"she has a dog"
"they have a dog"
her/their:
"that is her dog"
"that is their dog"
Also a lot of people state pronouns even if it seems pointless because the point is to normalize stating them.
please go back to grade school i feel like im arguing with a first grader
OmG I randomly just thought of this you would look rly good with a spilt dye
This video is Anti-smart
I like how asking pronouns was so normal in this conversation. Wish things were actually like this re: pronouns
Kids starving in Africa still, just an fyi.
This has to do with what?
Except you don't care about those starving children unless you can use them as a tool to get your shitty point across
Okay and? This is a struggle, and you have no right to put down someone's struggles. Besides, you can afford a device, so give them food! Oh, that's right, you just want to invalidate other people.
@@OfficiallyOcean_old It means there are more important issues in the world.
@@mylettucehead Neither do you, that's the point.
I have to deal with this a lot
i know i am a she they and my bestie is the MOST indecisive person ever so-
She has a twin sis !
Every time. Most just call me by she/her, which I don’t mind, but my pronouns are she/they
Thank god, a short about trans issues that DOESN'T have a bunch of phobes in the comments.
I use she/they pronouns and it sucks because a lot of people mostly or only use my she pronouns, this makes me very appreciative of my friends who heavily use my they pronouns or try to use them as it evens it out 😊
there's a reason why personally preferred pronouns have not become the main thing yet, and this video got the reason exactly right
