    Good general ideas. I've been solo in North Carolina for over 14 years. Listserves have been crucial for gaining advice and referrals, as well as building camaraderie among attorneys.

    Pioneers in law can’t rely on mentors. Mentors like to be safe. Pioneering is unsafe by nature.

    Reading law and study in law school has difference. I like law but how to win my case gives me panic sometimes.
