A rare Mercedes 600 Pullman once owned by John Lennon

A vintage Mercedes with a storied history, including ownership by three music icons such as John Lennon, is poised to fetch a staggering price as it goes up for sale.
Lennon, renowned as a member of The Beatles, acquired the luxurious 600 Pullman limousine brand new in 1970.
This particular model, one of only 39 produced to the same specifications, has been passed down through a succession of celebrity owners and is now hitting the market for an undisclosed six-figure sum.

The week this model was introduced, one of my neighbours,who was a salesman in Mercedess Park Lane,London, arrived outside our house with one of these 6 door beasts,and almost the whole street came out to have a look !
