Today, we go over not just a car, but a true piece of history!
This 600 Pullman was ordered by and delivered new to music legend and cultural icon, John Lennon. He then sold the car to his fellow Beatle George Harrison, who owned it for a number of years before being purchased by Mary Wilson of The Supremes, how about that for provenance?

I actually prefer the fact it was later owned by George Harrison. So it’s got two Beatles ownership. Surely that makes it even more rare?

Ringos 600 is in Melbourne's fox museum I sat in it when it arrived from the UK in 1995 and found the paperwork of it's previous owner whilst I was in it photos of Ringo George and Eric Clapton sitting in the same seat I was! Blew my mind😅

Worked at Mercedes-Benz in brentford at the time.Worked on and drive the car several times.He never drive the car.He had a chauffeur.Good days

His opinion...Lennon is one of THE most important people of the 20th Century!
In the Get Back documentary you see George in a white Mercedes 600 several times, as well as Ringo's silver one, plus Paul's red Lamborghini 350 GT. I believe John's in a RR. It's well worth watching for many reasons but the cars are all fantastic.
Yes, that was another Mercedes 600 with short wheelbase George Harrison owned before this one. And John Lennon indeed had a Rolls-Royce Phantom V.

You should give Sir Lewis Hamilton a call, this is the perfect car for his collection, he owns a modern Pullman, he is a musician at heart and the Mercedes factory restoration, him being a Mercedes F1 works driver……perfect fit!

I think it should stay in the UK or the Continent. The condition of roads & crazy traffic (and drivers) in the US would be too dangerous. Keep it safe 🙂

Nobody cares that John Lennon owned that car. But what bothers us is the steering wheels on the wrong side. Kind of a White Elephant. Probably find a nicer One For Less🎉
