I personally found myself in love with light tactiles when they have room to move with full stem travel. Long poles with a tactile bump definitely overload my senses when the addition of their early bottom-out add to the tactility.
I’d be curious to hear about the switches you’ve used that fall into that category! I don’t currently have any cherry mx browns on hand, but used to type on them in a logitech pre built long before I got into customs. I’ve grown very fond of Bolsa Corsas (but those are long pole and maybe edging slightly toward medium rather than light tactiles) and SP Star Meteor Oranges (very clacky, very light tactility).
@@ImOnMy116 The two switches that made me like one over the other were Cotton candies and Corsas. I thought the Corsas felt a little too cluttered or muddy in terms of feel because the shortened travel after the bump was like having two forces fight for my attention in one key press. The cotton candies, on the other hand, had this nice and airy post-travel which felt better due to only having one point of tactility. I use 3204 and don't lube the legs on my tactiles.
Nice! I'm not personally a huge fan of tactiles so I'm not sure these would be for me but they still sound good! What do you think of the triple stage spring? I'm considering buying some quad stage springs for some of my switches and it would be helpful to hear your thoughts.
These versus the Punkshoo Melody switches? I'm using blacket jackets stock atm; tossing up whether to pick up the Melody switches or more black jackets for another build.
Hey, ik this isn't really related, I've been really wanting the deskmat you used in your black cherry pie frankenswitch video. Would you mind telling me what it is called or where I could get one? Thanks!
Awesome review, manic grab, man. Can't wait to see you at the meetup!

@@YurttheSilentChief1 Appreciate the suggestion, I’ll definitely have to give the cotton candies a try at some point!
These are on my list of switches to eventually try for sure. I am a fan of pretty much any kinds of tactiles.

honestly the triple stage spring is kind of heavy :C if it was a bit lighter i would love it a lot more LOL but i can't argue how snappy it was

The grabs be getting so fast LOL
Sweet review! I wonder how these would do on pc or fr4 half. I find those to be really good for tactiles
the typing test scared me 😭💀
1:51 this gave me a heart attack
How do they compare to the Aflion Melody?

i honestly don't remember the name of it :C i think i got it from bolsa supply
@@TofuTypes dang i checked bolsa supply and it doesn't seem like they're selling it anymore
Interesting switch up
Expecting a keeb grab and satisfied when it did happen
as always ;)
do these switches sound scratchy?
maybe a tad bit?
@@TofuTypes how scratchy do they sound compared to lubed and filmed mx blacks non broken in
I LOVE YOU
i love you too xD
I feel like ws browns are a better buy than these for the price.
A lot heavier tactility though, which is not necessarily a "better" thing for everyone
@@rando843 sure, but these just feel like they have a lot of problems.
It's not even a jacket anymore
more like a mask LOL
I LOVE YOU
i 3 love you too LMAO
