Ted telling Carmichael is actually brilliant. If Carmichael wanted to take Ted down, she would have to open an investigation into an ex-anticorruption superintendent. Therefore, it would start to blow a hole into the "we can't investigate institutional corruption" and AC would be forced to look into Osborne etc.
So many people completely missed this. They all think that the episode exposed buckells as a criminal mastermind and wasn't the case at all. Far from it
Thank you! Glad to see others notice this even though it was glaringly obvious to me. I think the disappointment has been set up by the audience, not the writing.
@@SL0409 Am I right in thinking Osbourne is the real 'H' and Ian was just forced to take the blame for it all otherwise he'd have been killed. Seems people forgot someone had to give the order to kill jimmy lakewell in his cell to show him what happens to rats. If he was the real main man this would make no sense.
@@Harry_SS H was just the codename AC-12 were using for the 4th man who was helping the OCG from inside the police force. This was buckells. AC-12 (and the viewing audience) mistakenly assumed H was 1 man at the top pulling all the strings and this wasn't the case which we found out during the final episode. The point of the final episode was to show that corruption is more than just 1 man and there are numerous corrupt factions in place and constitutional failings allow this to happen. Was Osbourne involved in corruption? Almost certainly yes he was. He wasn't H because H was the person who was communicating through the laptops and this was proved to be buckells due to the continuous spelling mistake over numerous years. The thing people aren't really grasping is the fact that H/buckells wasn't a criminal mastermind that brought together corrupt officers to work for the OCG he was actually just 1 man in a chain of corruption.
I think Carmichael has much more milage in her - but a scene that has always bothered me was resolved. When, in season 1, Cotton wants to 'have a word' with Tommy Hunter after his arrest and he was allowed to - that never seems credible - but it was BUCKLES who let him! Talk about playing a long game!
Fair enough but the execution was TERRIBLE . I didn’t mind who H was but the way they did it was so bad . It should have ended in S5 . But they milked it
The secret to Line of Duty’s success (in series 1 - 5) is the dramatic irony: we as the viewers know more than AC-12 in the initial episodes. We then spend the next few episodes watching our ‘bent coppers’ either dance around AC-12 trying to divert their suspicions or the OCG/corrupt prison officers and eventually, usually by the penultimate episode, our trio are as up-to speed as we are. Then we have an episode or two where we’re learning at the same pace as AC-12; it changes the tone and the tension builds to a climax that packs a punch. The suspense built at the end of those episodes was organic: it wasn’t a cheap cliffhanger where you’re left asking questions about what the AC-12 team have just learned and not revealed to the camera. You have, for example tracking back to series 4, just seen Arnott thrown down a few flights of stairs or, in series 3, seen Denton getting her brains blown out and Dot switching the number plates to reveal he’s in Arnott’s car. Most of the tension in this series felt artificial. The Jeremy Kyle-esque ‘who’s the father... you’ll find out next week!’ and the gun stand-off with two bullets being fired and not knowing who took them felt like cheap and lazy writing tricks, used by much less skilled writers to contrive an investment to tune in next week. Similarly, some of the powerhouse characters seemed very poorly written in the closing episode. Considering Carmichael’s ‘Star Wars-style’ entrance and takeover, she happily blended into the background and left our trio to run around intercepting transport and interviewing the fella she was trying to protect. Why does our controlling and petulant Pat now seem comfortable being out the loop and in the shadows until the final 5 minutes?
Because she wasn't trying to protect Buckles. She's protecting the real head of the OCG. Buckles is just a scapegoat, and she let them chase him because she knew that would keep them off the scent.
The idiot turning out to be the mastermind was a great twist. I didnt see it coming and loved it. But that interview was just so flat. And quick! LoDs interview scenes are what always made the show great for me. Always so clever and intense. I wanted Buckles to go from idiot to genius psychopath before our eyes in that interview. Such a shame and missed opportunity
This would have made the payoff where they cut off the witness protection so much more satisfying. A small change like this may have left the audience a lot more to chew on.
Actually, Buckells could appear to be inept while intentionally covering for someone higher up pulling the strings...maybe Buckells was recruited early on for this position and was groomed willingly??? Remember things are not always as they appear. I would like to know if Ted Hastings is the father of John Corbett, I'm convinced because Ted broke down so much when he found out dearly beloved Anne-Marie was John Corbett's mother. That was heartbreaking. 'Jesus Joseph Mary and the wee donkey.'
I think the ending might be a nod at the fact that corruption is rife in the police and the justice system but no matter how hard anybody tries it will never go away. Like a parody of reality
LOL...we need more from the concluding episode of a 6 season drama full of thrills and WOW moments than the LIFE'S SHIT AND THEN YOU DIE ending that we got!! :-(
Buckles being H wasn't the issue. It was the way it was revealed and played out. Would have loved an Edward Norton in Primal Fear reveal with him going from a naive bungling fool to a cocky arrogant unapologetic bent copper. Just fell flat at the end.
I see what you're saying. The way Ed Norton's character was handled and developed in that film was impeccable, so maybe in LoD they could have given Buckle's more screen time and dropped in some subtle clues that he could be much cleverer than he looked.

It was tied up properly. The whole point was corruption is never just 1 man People are failing to understand that "H" was never the top man pulling all the strings
@@jaystev that is what AC-12 believed. It was written in a way that made the audience also go along with this theory but the episode showed they were wrong and that wasn't the case at all. The episode was genius tbf People wanted a twist, well they got it because H was never 1 man at the top pulling all the strings
@@SL0409 But then the entire H storyline that dragged on for wayyy longer than it should have, ends up with a cheap conclusion. Don’t try justifying it it’s bad writing is what it is. Buckells being H wasn’t even the worst part of the finale, the writing was bad the editing was abysmal it felt rushed as fuck
He was in it from series 1 and no one suspected him, he manipulated every murder enquiry or case in each series, it was like usual suspects no one suspected the cripple
The cripple was played by a MAJOR acting talent KEVIN SPACEY who got an OSCAR for his role as he revealed with skill who the cripple actually was - it was a physical transformation & a psychological one. Buckells started the interview SMUG & GORMLESS and ended it CONFUSED and GORMLESS. I wudn't even give a RAZZIE for that performance!!
I thought DCC Andrea Wise & Rohan Sindwhani were involved as they were at HQ. They didn’t even appear in the last episode despite their regular appearances throughout the series
The scene in Prison where buckles was scared and shaking making his tea before Jimmy was strangled in-front of him and being warned by Banks that he’d end up that way too if he ever talked... Kinda doesn’t make sense now? I know he wasn’t exactly “H” but surely he couldn’t be the one behind the depot, Jo’s order to kill Kate etc... He can’t be the one in charge if the OCG treated him like that in prison. Very confusing
I know, it feels very messy. Also, his first interview must have been some amazing performance? Also, we're now meant to think that Jo was scared of Buckles? Or she didn't know who he was? in which case why did she clam up so much in her interview? And what info did Buckles have to trade for Witness Protection?
I'm also confused on this point. He must have put all the orders? Unless like someone else has already pointed out was it acting so Buckells remind anonymous?
@@thebeardedcountryman Yup...deteriorated bodies, foreign police ID. Sure they found the wallet on the kitchen counter so it must be him. Perhaps he is free after Bloodlands‽
Life doesn’t have satisfying conclusions. I liked the way it ended, realistic, knowing that corruption will always be there and that pathetic people get to the top because most of us only believe what’s in front of us because we are all too busy with our own shit. It was spot on.
it really wasn't that bad, sure it was a little underwhelming, however they finished all the storylines, they wrapped it up nicely,, I do think it was quite clever the reveal of H not really being anyone, did want more action though, despite it being a tad underwhelming it was nicely concluded . Pluss the acting especially by Adrian was amazing. I did like how the final shot was them going over all the previous characters like Roz, Lindsay and the final shot bringing it full circle with Gates's photo on top was a nice touch. Clever and intuitive but a little disappointing. 7.5/10
I didn’t think it showed Buckles being H but rather he was simply passing on information from someone higher up that the series will explore going forward, possibly accidentally
Short summary is: had they just looked at cases where definitely was spelt as "defantely", they could have solved this Fourth Man conspiracy far, far sooner. Felt like a wasted series unfortunately
“Definitely” , after all of the relentless hype over the past week in countless TV interviews and discussions with the Cast members. ( I've actually seen more exciting, faster paced episodes of "The Simpsons") We see a half arsed car chase - with less drama than the one from the Toy Story 2 movie. Culminating in a feeble surrender by the heavily armed "men in black", and then a flaccid climax revealing "H" was actually the bungling, detective Buckell "what a pain in the ass". Which makes me wonder - Does "H" stand for Hemorrhoid??. So that's where they can stick the next series..😂😂
I liked the ending and felt it was a great reflection of a common problem with many institutions - that if we keep ignoring small, seemingly insignificant details, these things eventually evolve into larger, complicated problems in the future.
That was the whole point. AC-12 mistakenly thought "H" was 1 man pulling all the strings and it wasn't, far from it The whole point was corruption is never just 1 man "your corruption was disguised as incompetence" was a subtle dig at the UK govt The people who didn't understand the point of the episode and think they outed buckells as a criminal mastermind have had their brains melted by watching too much love Island 😂
Season 6 of line of duty resembled the real life case of murdered Journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia (Daphne Vella) who was assisted in a car bomb attack in 2017. Both Daphne and Gail in the show got too close to corruption and were killed for it. One thing you can give Jed Mercurio props for is incorporating real life events into his stories. Thanks :) Edit: Vella is a common surname in Malta - the country where Daphne lived and worked
It was really, really bad. Almost like Jed Mercurio wrote himself into a corner and didn't have a clue how to get out. So many pointless plot threads brought up to confuse the viewer. And don't even get me started on how bad the scene with Chloe telling the main three muppets who was spelling incorrectly the entire time.
As someone who only started watching Line Of Duty last month (from episode 1) I thought the ending tied everything up nicely while still leaving the door open on the possibility of something bigger going on.
I thought Line Of Duty was really good last night. People are really upset because the villain wasn't some high profile big hitter who they'd been expecting it to be, but loose ends were sewn and it leaves it open for another series in the future. I actually predicted it was Buckels in episode 3
Season 1 told you it was buckells. Doc wants some alone time with Tommy Hunter after he was arrested and he was allowed. This woukd never ever be allowed to happen Who let Doc in to have a private chat with Tommy Hunter? Ian Buckells Also H was kind of a red herring. H was never 1 man at the top pulling all the strings. This was a misconception by AC-12 which is cleared up by the end of the episode.
@@SL0409 I agree as it also shows in the episode that Ted, Steve and Kate now know that H is not just one person. All they really did was put the last person in prison who enabled the last three to do as they did and close this particular corruption case.
I think you are basing your thoughts on the show on the last episode. It’s still the best show BBC have ever put out. The ending was a bit flat but ultimately made sense.
Buckells being a bad apple wasn't tacked on. In the last episode of series one, Tommy hunter was in the back of the van and Buckells gets Dot to go in and talk to him one to one. That's when we realised Dot was a baddy. It was Buckells that encouraged Dot to go for the inspector exam (or whatever it's called). And did you see Buckells' face when Kate came out from interviewing little Ryan Pilkington?
I wasn't disappointed at all. Very satisfied with the outcome. Makes perfect sense and wrapped everything up really well. Would be happy if it ended there but definitely keen for more Line of Duty.
Whether it was what most viewers expected- it being Carmichael, Osborne or Wise as the Fourth Man. It would of been relatively the same response in terms of social media response, still loads of questions and frustration from fans -.- because of how obvious the characters came across. We was never going to be satisfied ! I think Jed knows that. Be grateful! Every other series endings has gave us so many unanswered questions. So in my opinion they will be and I shall hope for another season to clear it up in some way. It will most likely be just one more series, but it will slowly give us all the answers we need and that will be the end of Line of Duty.😊
I agree. They can't spoil us with endings like Dot's and then give us an ending with a character whose name we can't remember because of his limited screen time. And until you pointed out James Nesbitt was in this I didn't recognize him again because of lack of development of the character. It's like they purposely wanted to lose fans, just like The Mentalist did with their finale after all those years invested. Yes maybe shorter Arcs are needed
I think that whoever 'H' was, short of Darth Vadar, would disappoint someone or other. A reveal is always going to ve an anticlimax. Personally, I found it somewhat satisfying.
If they wanted a Keyser Söze-esque ending, why didn't they just bring back Neil Morrissey to be "H"? He would have chewed up the scenery and been far more entertaining than bloody Buckle!
Maybe they will do an ironman 3, and reveal the real mandarin for season 7. “Buckles…we were joking” The plot thickens! PS the actor that plays Buckles also arrests Steve Coogan in the first Alan Partridge season
The disappointing thing about the ending wasn’t that H was Ian buckles but it the was the fact that H isn’t the criminal mastermind we all thought they were. Really it is the chief constable that is more like the figure of what we all thought H was. So Ian buckles is H but you could classify the chief constable as ‘the real H’ if you wanted to because he is the real ‘top man pulling the strings’ that we all thought H was
Have really, enjoyed watching this programme from very beginning to end. Each series and episode had me wanting to watch more. Glad I have, in New Zealand
I think that Buckles is the fall guy, and is taking the rap for the real H. There is someone hidger pulling the strings, and is threatening and blackmailing Buckles and others to take the rap fot Dall the wrongdoings, to pave the way for a new series
I feel like the finale was a big let down, it was all that build up just to find out that buckles was the fourth man, I personally feel it should have been Osborne and that would have been a satisfactory ending
You definitely missed the point. "your corruption was disguised as incompetence" was the most important line in the whole episode. H was never a criminal mastermind pulling the strings. This was a red herring all along. The point was to show that corruption is never down to 1 man and institutional failings will always allow corruption to continue
I watched up to season 5, didn't want to pay to see season 6. Honestly I thought 100% Terry Boyle was going to be the HNIC of the whole organization. I mean in every scene he played it cool ... too cool. lol It would have been awesome if he was the puppet master.
In every way, yes. It was unbelievable that the fourth man turned out to be Buckles, sad that Ted wasn't able to overturn his forced retirement, weak that Steve and Kate simply accepted their gaffer's waffly excuse for giving Steph all that money, infuriating that Carmichael didn't get tossed out for deliberately ignoring links to bent coppers even as she was taking over the section specifically tasked with investigating bent coppers, and dizzying that Jo was suddenly off in John Lewis land with gorgeous girlfriend and dog in tow. All the tension with Steve and Occupational Health came to nothing. The matey relationship between Steve and Kate seemed forced. It was too contrived that Chloe went away and came back with rich info, over and over again. Yet we never saw her actually doing anything to find all that evidence - it was all done offscreen. And conveniently discovering the box with all the DNA was just the final straw. Oh, and I'm sure lots of people misspell definitely.
Well I have to agree with all your comments. And having binge watched the entire decades worth of LoD (due to retiring from the NHS after 40 years and now having the time to watch lots of tv) in the last week, I was, too, left feeling a bit deflated by the ending. However a big yes to a 7th season.
I liked it because it wasn't a twist for the sake of a twist.... It makes sense. I rewatched all episodes this week and I think he was the only option. people wanted some sort of Hollywood ending?? But why ?? They never end a season like that.
To be honest, the identity of H was telegraphed as Ian Buckells in the first series, there was a shot of him entering the frame when Tony Gates went to the golf green where Tommu Hunters was. Buckels was wearing whites and carrying a golf bag with clubs, the caddy.
I don't think it was a bad *season* ending at all and I'm 100% certain there will be a 7th season carrying on the OCG/institutional corruption arc featuring the same cast. They tied up some loose ends but leaving AC12 about to get merged, Ted on the verge of retirement and Osborne who is obviously up to his neck in it, pretty much winning DEFINATELY signals there is more to come. They'll find another bent copper, they'll investigate (hampered by Carmichael's interference), midway through the season some evidence will emerge connecting the case to the 4th Man/Laurence Christopher/child abuse cases and they'll discover there was another Mr Big behind the scenes all along using Buckells as his (or her) mouthpiece/patsy. Mercurio knows what he's doing.
I agree with a poster earlier; Jimmy Nesbitt seems to have been set up as the next baddie, if that's what the producers decide to go with. I would love a rebooted season 7 but wouldn't' be surprised if the show ended after season 6. Viewing figures were through the roof, so there's hope.
The earlier series were better because the viewer knew certain things that the AC12 officers didn't, like the fact that Dot was corrupt. We were kept guessing a kong time about Denton, and even though her story was stretched over 2 series it held our attention because there were other events taking place with Steve investigating the historic child abuse, and seeing who was involved, because of Damny Waldron's list. The end of S3 was when things got a little silly. The 'urgent exit required' text that led to Kate hitching a lift on the side of a lorry with a gun, chasing after a vehicle which seemed to go round and round in circles just to give Kate time to catch it was when it started to lose some of the shine. It has never reached the levels of the first 3 series (even with the urgent exit required) after that. It was more interesting originally because we knew who the bad guy probably was but now it's just full of red herrings and hype. What made the series great for the first 3 series has been lost along the way. Series one Tony Gates (whose original offence was just laddering) was really good because you could see the bad things that happened to him that he stupidly covered up. He let Jackie Laverty get away with a drunken hit and run instead of reporting her, and as a viewer you could see his struggle. It's a shame that it's been overhyped. I watched from the beginning on BBC2 when it was just a new police drama, no fuss. It was like finding a gem. Now it's a victim of it's own success.
I haven't seen, or even heard of, this show. But I'm watching this anyway cuz I like your breakdowns. I feel like I know quite a bit now and I'm equally disappointed in this ending for you. 😆
never even watched season 6 cos season 5 was such an over hyped bore, after reading all the comments on this finale i'm really glad i saved a few hours! 1 comment was they still waited for something else to happen cos they didnt think the show would end like that, thats how i felt last year!
We have just finished binge watching it all in one go and absolutely loved it! I think you must have felt it was an anticlimax because it took 10 years for you. Fabulous show! ❤
I 100% agree with everything you said mate! I was fuming at the Line of Duty ending. It’s like they ran out of ideas and Buckles was the only one left 🙄. I also just finished Invincible and it was stella. I can’t wait for the next season.
This finale episode was the definately the worst written ending/script ever. It's as if Jed M had a stroke just before writing episode 4. Definately pathetic last episode. The irony of how badly it "buckelled". What was that awful crapp they had Hastings say at the end to Carmichael about accountability and integrity. What an awkward unfitting final exchange they have. The two great actors in the scene couldn't even save it.
It couldn't live up to the hype it had this season. Everyone was talking about it. I binged the first five seasons to find out what I was missing. The BBC podcast, Obsessed with Line of Duty was really good, though.
I actually feel in a weird way Carmichael might actually be a good copper but very stubborn that's why Hastings gave he the carry the torch speech as he realised that at the end
Nice video, although you missed out the reference to the death of Christopher Adler, Lawrence Christopher. If you look at the facts of the case you'll see the similarity.
I don’t understand H was supposed to be the 4th Caddy, the level of Caddy is one level down from the top. So there has to be someone at the top, we still don’t know about.
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to have everyone thinking he never existed 🤣 Great ending not many times you can actually say the writers of a show fools you till the very end well done. Fully enjoyable
99% just don't understand the episode at all and think they outed Buckells as a criminal mastermind and they didn't That's the thing with intelligent writing. Most people aren't intelligent enough to understand it. Love Island is more on their level
There was never going to be a satisfying ending and in the end it felt like they just threw darts at a board to see who's face came up with the most holes. After a slow build up to the reveal of H it did feel like they didnt have enough time to tie everything up so it felt very rushed.
People just aren't grasping the point of the episode. H was never a criminal mastermind pulling the strings. This was a misconception by AC-12 which was cleared up and put to bed by the end of the episode

I always thought H would turn out to be mephisto
The storyline from the last series with John Corbett was so much better
season 5 is the besta!!!
Fact
I think Carmichael has much more milage in her - but a scene that has always bothered me was resolved. When, in season 1, Cotton wants to 'have a word' with Tommy Hunter after his arrest and he was allowed to - that never seems credible - but it was BUCKLES who let him! Talk about playing a long game!
Indeed. It's easy to criticize a television show, but clues have been given about Buckles right from the start of the series. That's good writing.
Yess!!! I'm rewatching and following Buckells the entire time.. he was the one that picked up from where Tony Gates left too..
''cheap and lazy writing tricks, used by much less skilled writers to contrive an investment to tune in next week.'' = Exactly.
Right i was waiting 4 the same thing.. but it trailed of with a whimper..
Nah, Buckles was never going to do that. He was just far too good at being incompetent. He's a distraction from the real villain.
This would have made the payoff where they cut off the witness protection so much more satisfying. A small change like this may have left the audience a lot more to chew on.
He’s not the mastermind. Osborne is
Actually, Buckells could appear to be inept while intentionally covering for someone higher up pulling the strings...maybe Buckells was recruited early on for this position and was groomed willingly???
Its kate. The evidenece is at exactly 24:30 in the last episode. Pause and you will see Kates picture in the top right corner on the board that is for people involved in the OCG, What is her picture doing there? Jed is pointing us to Kate. Then go back and rewatch it makes sense

It was tied up properly. The whole point was corruption is never just 1 man

@@SL0409 Yes but we were told time and time again that H WAS the top man pulling the strings.
@@jaystev that is what AC-12 believed. It was written in a way that made the audience also go along with this theory but the episode showed they were wrong and that wasn't the case at all. The episode was genius tbf

@@SL0409 absolute music to my ears, finally someone who gets it
He was in it from series 1 and no one suspected him, he manipulated every murder enquiry or case in each series, it was like usual suspects no one suspected the cripple
And he was the one who let Dot talk to Tommy Hunter when he was arrested I think
I always thought H wouldn’t be a person it was “Headquarters” cuz basically all of them are bent
He was sending all the messages anonymously so Lee Banks wouldn't have had any idea it was Buckles sending them
@@TheBearHead. But if it was Buckles ordering Lee to kill Lakewell, why was he scared!? lol unless he was just acting again
I didn't get that bit either.
I'm also confused on this point. He must have put all the orders? Unless like someone else has already pointed out was it acting so Buckells remind anonymous?
I was ok with H not living up to expectations but at least give us some entertainment in the finale.
'H' was hyped up too much that unless they were a criminal mastermind the reveal was going to be underwhelming. :/

it really wasn't that bad, sure it was a little underwhelming, however they finished all the storylines, they wrapped it up nicely,, I do think it was quite clever the reveal of H not really being anyone, did want more action though, despite it being a tad underwhelming it was nicely concluded . Pluss the acting especially by Adrian was amazing. I did like how the final shot was them going over all the previous characters like Roz, Lindsay and the final shot bringing it full circle with Gates's photo on top was a nice touch. Clever and intuitive but a little disappointing. 7.5/10
So many people completely missed the point of the episode and think buckells was a criminal mastermind by the codename H and he wasn't.

“Definitely” , after all of the relentless hype over the past week in countless TV interviews and discussions with the Cast members. ( I've actually seen more exciting, faster paced episodes of "The Simpsons")
We see a half arsed car chase - with less drama than the one from the Toy Story 2 movie.
THANK GOODNESS I thought people had just forgotten the whole show ending 😂 😂
Because of that ending I will have issue the BBC with a Reg 15
Did you see the compilation that came out on UA-cam today of Steve and Kate calling each other “mate” ?
I liked the ending and felt it was a great reflection of a common problem with many institutions - that if we keep ignoring small, seemingly insignificant details, these things eventually evolve into larger, complicated problems in the future.
That was the whole point. AC-12 mistakenly thought "H" was 1 man pulling all the strings and it wasn't, far from it
The whole point was corruption is never just 1 man
"your corruption was disguised as incompetence" was a subtle dig at the UK govt
The people who didn't understand the point of the episode and think they outed buckells as a criminal mastermind have had their brains melted by watching too much love Island 😂
Thanks :)
Edit: Vella is a common surname in Malta - the country where Daphne lived and worked
I wonder how much money Jimmy Nesbit got for his bafta winning role? 😂
lad probably thought he'd hit the jackpot getting paid for that
It was really, really bad. Almost like Jed Mercurio wrote himself into a corner and didn't have a clue how to get out. So many pointless plot threads brought up to confuse the viewer. And don't even get me started on how bad the scene with Chloe telling the main three muppets who was spelling incorrectly the entire time.
You summed up the ending quite correctly. I was very disappointed as well.
It was so anti-climatic and disjointed
Yeah absolutely terrible
As someone who only started watching Line Of Duty last month (from episode 1) I thought the ending tied everything up nicely while still leaving the door open on the possibility of something bigger going on.
I thought Line Of Duty was really good last night. People are really upset because the villain wasn't some high profile big hitter who they'd been expecting it to be, but loose ends were sewn and it leaves it open for another series in the future. I actually predicted it was Buckels in episode 3
Season 1 told you it was buckells.
Doc wants some alone time with Tommy Hunter after he was arrested and he was allowed. This woukd never ever be allowed to happen
Who let Doc in to have a private chat with Tommy Hunter?
Ian Buckells
Also H was kind of a red herring.
“No comment like a bad subscriber.” 🤣🤣🤣

Disappointed. I was hoping that Carmichael would be named at the end or another twist but it was a flat finale.
nesbitt and mercurio must have had some kind of sponsorship deal with a wig maker and spray on hair dye
Pissed that I’ve only just found this channel. You are hilarious my friend
So Ian buckles is H but you could classify the chief constable as ‘the real H’ if you wanted to because he is the real ‘top man pulling the strings’ that we all thought H was
Buckles line aka H smiles as he's locked up and season 7 meant to come on to plsy might find out the real Mr h?

I think so too.
Season 7, an open pursuit of Osborne with an open question as whether politics or justice will win
I mean in every scene he played it cool ... too cool. lol
It would have been awesome if he was the puppet master.
@Deborah

"No comment, like a bad subscriber" 😂 clever line
Your joke "no comment like a bad subscriber" was a million miles more entertaining than the whole series.
Hahha thank you
I agree with a poster earlier; Jimmy Nesbitt seems to have been set up as the next baddie, if that's what the producers decide to go with. I would love a rebooted season 7 but wouldn't' be surprised if the show ended after season 6. Viewing figures were through the roof, so there's hope.
Did you see the compilation that came out on UA-cam today of Steve and Kate calling each other “mate” ?
