Joe is one of the last rare candles in a sad grey ocean called 'music-business'! He started as a talented kid, jamming with B.B. King and others. But now he has developed to be an authentic blues man. He found his own voice and kind of expression. Bonamassa reinvests the money earned into developing his music - it is very expensive to go on tour with a grand orchestra - but it sounds fantastic. Thanks Joe, for reminding us that the blues will never die. There is hope for the sincere and honest people ...

Again... very well said.. this fella.. he is up there above anyone else on my personal musician list.. I have seen about 60 live shows during the last 10+ years.. and.. Joe always is up there.. will be 3 weeks till I finally get to shake hands with The Maestro and my 5th Joe concert .. The Royal Albert Hall.. will be the greatest moment of my music life.. .haters will keep hating.. I go on and enjoy some good music 😊
I revise after listening to this for many times today: he's no candle, not only a legend: this guy is an alien, more than friendly to humans. I cannot believe I'm writing this. And I ordered this BlueRay some minutes ago.

Yeah I agree Joe’s and Philip’s good, lot a good one’s, Joe’ probably the richest hiring back up singer, orchestra, you ever seen his guitar collection? Probably $100-$150 at least a ticket, some of us just love it and are trying to get to the next show😢
Why everytime "the best"..... no have to compare, for me, he's the best... the best i love earing, he gave me a good feeling for à day, his band too. No mine if somebody don't like him.(ecuse my english I'm French 🔵⚪🔴 )

@@keddy5627 Much as I love Joe, that's a bit of a strange comparison. Mozart was a composer (primarily) whose music is still played 300 years later. Joe is a guitar player who predominantly plays other peoples songs. As for being the 'best' - What criteria would you use for making such a claim? because I cant think of any and let me re-iterate, I love his playing and his concerts - he even signed my guitar !!
@@hulldanfan hi there! Joe has written and sings his own catalog as well as covers that sound better than the original artists. I have always been a purist BUT when I hear Joe do a cover, I am amazed! I never thought anyone could do The Thrill is Gone better than BB, but when I heard Joe, no comparison! Same with so many of Gary Greene’s and even Zep! I simply cannot believe what an absolutely gifted singer and downright nuclear guitar skills…when he shreds, it is a downright spiritual experience! Yeah, I’m a fan to the core…Jesus and Joe: The Cure for this crazy-ass world, friend! 🙏🏽🎸🙏🏽

With the skill of a master, Joe pulls everything together! The blues are not often associated with an orchestra, but if anyone can do it, *IT IS JOE!* ❤ And he *DOES* just that! Great work, and his vocals are superb!

Joe can play any guitar and make them all sound mega great, but when he picks up any 335 it is just supernatural.
Joe pours out his soul and songs fall like rain.. I'm just a sponge collecting every drop! He never ceases to inspire me.

This is why I started playing guitar and this is why I will never stop. Not because I could ever do what Joe does. Not in a million years. Just because it can be done and I can dream that perhaps one minute of one day I can come close to what he did on his worst day.
You hit the nail on the head brother. It’s very humbling but when you hit that note that Joe does every once in a while it’s addicting
Every time you pick up your guitar your just a bit closer. I started at 5 and now 71 and still practicing everyday and performing out sometimes 3 nights a week. Yes, we have our weekly rehearsals too. I stopped teaching due to students that don’t practice and still wanna be like their guitar heroes. Nobody wants to sight read. ( old school ) like I did many moons ago. I think it’s called the instant gratification syndrome
