@Robb Dark it bothered her on different levels. firstly, reporters/interviewers are trained NOT to allow the guest to question them, it taints the interview as it gives the impression the reporter is bias. remember the person asking the question is usually in control as they set the narrative and direction of the conversation. she was asking horribly negative questions with implied negative assumptions. they were no-win questions for Kelly. secondly, she admitted she drinks and gets drunk. believe it or not, lots of people consider this a poor character. i personally do not, but there are still those out there who detest alcohol.

I can see why the interviewer wanted to ask R. Kelly some of those questions, but honestly at that point she was basically just beating a dead horse and her tone and overall attitude was *VERY* confrontational & antagonistic (and it wasn't just the accent). A true journalist stays neutral even when asking emotionally charged questions. R. Kelly may not be an innocent man, but he did handle the interview with grace and walking out on her seems perfectly reasonable imo.

When the artist agrees on an interview, their manager tells the interviewer all the question not to ask them. They agree not to in order to get the interview. If the celebrities cancel or walk out, they have to pay a fee. If the interviewer asks a question they are not supposed to ask they have to pay a fee.
