- After a short break, Shermin takes on more traditional and organic forms of dating. After almost 8 months, she finds herself spending more time with 2 guys. One makes her laugh constantly, the other takes care of her. And you know what they say - in order to find out if you’re really compatible as a couple, you got to either move in together or travel together! So Shermin goes on an overseas trip with each potential prince charming.
Will Shermin be able to make up her mind after the trip? Or will the guys come to realise that they should be looking elsewhere? Will Shermin get her happily ever after?

Yes Shermin is just so realll!!! I can’t remember how many times I teared throughout the series! So heartwarming!
I was cheering for Jay the whole time. I was about to leap into the screen when he ask her to go exclusive. As far as the other guy, I wasn’t emotional attached since he didn’t really show his face much.
Forget Hollywood, this is so much more raw, emotional. All her hesitation, thoughts, words, feelings required no explanation, because they were all instinctively recognisable to anyone who has tried to love.
You give hope to many but show that the path can be tough. Such a beautiful, cherished piece of work!

Jay seems like a very considerate guy who puts his exclusive's needs over his own and takes good care of her. Plus he constantly checks in on her during the time she felt down, while other guys get frustrated that she doesnt reply messages. This is the type of guy that parents and grandmas will adore.

I feel Jay was chosen because of his effort, being more proactive in pursuing Shermin. Especially the surprise date, his romantic gesture definitely melt her heart. I felt that Jay captured her heart when he make the first move to hold her hand at the right time. Smooth one Jay! I feel initially she has stronger feelings for Rich due to his fun personality and looks. However, like he said, there is lack of effort from his end too. During the KL trip, he did not up his game, thus he has fallen into the friendzone. I think is just because he is not that into her. I believe if a guy is really into a girl, his behaviour will be more like Jay.

Rish is a handsome, suave , smooth operator......but it's clearly obvious he doesn't see Shermin in a romantic light. Good friends, sure.
Jay , on the other hand, gave the impression he was prepared to climb Mt Everest to prove he was worthy to be her steady boyfriend.
The choice , in the end, was easy peasy.

Yes! As a fellow single, nerdy-girl, high achiever, this was very inspiring. Ultimately, Shermin put in the work tho. She went on more dates in a year than I’ve been on in my life! 😅
So happy for Shermin and Jay! He showed he cares about her so many times, like being the one to reach out and was understanding when she was busy; the surprise picnic and gifts; and his gentlemanly behavior towards her at all times. I was hoping she would pick Jay because he was a better partner for her and so glad she chose him!

yes, the stats showed it as well, there are way more guys who are single in that age range than girls, i sure that journey will resonate with more people considering it's almost half the guy population
A male version of this experiment using dating apps will only work if the guy is very very good looking. Average guys will not get anywhere near as many matches as Shermin did, let alone the number of dates.

@@sahfahrisupar That makes you one of the few exceptions if you're an average looking guy getting as many matches & dates as Shermin did in today's online dating climate. The app companies make their money from guys having to pay fees/subscriptions to try boost their visibility on the platforms because most are simply not being swiped on to get as many matches, let alone dates. There is data to back all this especially here in Western societies. Not sure if it's the same in Eastern ones.

I'm 30 and I've never had a bf and I use to think something was wrong with me but I have finally made peace with the fact it might not happen. With that being said I love seeing love and I'm rooting for Shermin and anybody else looking for their person ❤
Same. I’m 26 and came to terms with not finding someone because of my choice to not have kids. Thankfully my parents are accepting of that fact. It’s still so wholesome to watch others fall in love.

I'm turning 30 next year and I have not dated anyone before either. This series showed me the amount of effort needed to find the right one. Until now, I've just left it to fate but being a homebody myself, I guess it is impossible and I should take control of my own love life.

In part 1 of this series, when I saw a text from Jay asking why is she awfully quiet, I had a knack, he'll be a good partner. Someone checking up on you in the initial phase makes the difference. I am glad she went with Jay! Rish is amazing 🫶🏽 respect him for taking things so smoothly without making it awkward.
I'm so glad she made the right choice at the end, that picnic clinched it for me, and Jay was so affectionate and caring towards her, he is worth his weight in gold honey. 💗
I give Shermin a lot of credit for doing this. It is really hard to put oneself out there, but to do so publicly, on UA-cam fore all to see, warts and all, is really something. I wish her the best. Still, being 31 and never having had a boyfriend, but then trying to find her "one," that proverbially "Prince Charming" to marry and ride off into the sunset, is really asking too much of her. Those are such impossible odds and must be taking a terrible toll on her emotional well-being. Although I find it fascinating to watch, I think CNA Insider may have overstepped the line here. I think more consideration of the negative impact this series could have on Shermin's mental and emotional health over the long-run should have taken place.
Met my wife through a SDU (if anyone even knows what that is 😅) website 23 years back. Went 'exclusive' on our 3rd date! I never had a gf before that and she didn't have any bf before. We have been happily married for 21 years and she is the the love of my life. There is definitely someone out there for everyone, and you can always find that special one thru the Internet!

Tbh I think talking to Rish will be super exhausting. He is constantly cracking low-level jokes. I know they help to lighten the mood but overdoing it is bad too. Hopefully, he is just doing it for the cameras

I like the white dress with floral that she wore to the picnic date. it's nice to see her buying more outfits...good clothing choices. also like that she got some lessons to do some subtle make up and spend some time to make herself more presentable. i can feel the increase in confidence.

I like Jay for her since he made an effort to give her earrings and that picnic date. A guy who invests to you and make you meet his friends is a keeper. I don't like Rish since he seems so comfortable dating women like he already touched your waistline during the bowling date. He could have touched your arms instead.
Never ask a guy to go out of town with you on a date unless he's your fiance. Never spend money for a man you're dating. Never rush.
