It makes sense in the Zombie canon, as this is where they teleported after Der Riese. Also, it (kinda) makes sense because the Nazi remnant was still a thing during the Cold War/Vietnam (hence Project Nova, Steiner, etc.). Most importantly though, this map was the first Black Ops map becuase it was a carry-over from World at War. It was supposed to be DLC4, but they scrapped it due to the release being too close to MW2’s release.
@@chlorhexidine2506 oh yes they did care, we all know this is fiction, video games that cannot be taken seriously. Cod was ok in their books. I haven't gotten a GTA game until I was 17. But about you? What you doing? Judging other childhood in the internet? Are you in the university like me, studying for a bachelor and with the support of our parents? Hopefully so.
No innovation at all. Nothing new was added to the mode. You can get to high rounds whole being on auto pilot and you have to go out of your way to die on this map. It's good but more overrated than any other map. Theres 0 replay value unless you wanna listen to 115
My favorite part about Kino Der Toten is that it takes place next to the Berlin Wall yet nobody is hearing gunshots nor seeing zombies in the middle of the day, especially since this is in 1963 a time period where any form of violence there would spark WW3. There’s a random audio log about The Great Leap Foward in the Wii version and even though it’s later revealed the guy in the reels is Maxis it’s a Russian guy (sounds like Kravchenko) talking
I watched a different video on the Kino story, but I loved Kino because of its horror and the replayability to it, I still play it sometimes on bo3 just for XP purposes and I train zombies consistently (some people actually kill them, and it’s annoying, but yeah).
Is the wall outside the map the Berlin wall? If so when does this map take place in bo1 because there are German symbols in the building way after the war ended
Yeah it’s the Berlin Wall and the crew shot the wunnderwaffe on the teleported on der rise and they got teleported 16 years (could be wrong on how many years) into the future and they arrive a kino
Technically, not aliens if they’re terrestrial and they have to have them so the story makes sense that’s how element 115 was found cause the apothicons
Bro I remember loading and going huh to the Nazi map like this game is set in Vietnam

I Remember seeing a hippie van outside the theater
@@mpekimhey that would be cool tho a Vietnamese zombies map
Fun fact: kino der Toten is right next by the Berlin wall
what doesn’t make sense is this map takes place before berlin wall construction so it’s a plothole
@@OnionRootberlin wall was made in 1961 and kino takes place during 1963
@@OnionRootkino is in the 60s cause they time traveled
@@TheDavidish I didn’t realize that i thought it was set in ww2 thanks for the info

Black ops 1 and 2 need a remaster

Chaos loves this map
Bro, if you actually go through this, you’re gonna have at least 100 parts
If they just kept the story with this origins instead of aliens 😭😭😭

Wait this is the map where perks where made??
Yessir! We didn't find that out until treyarch gave us the zombie timeline a few years ago but the 4 main perks were created in kino
Yes with the help of Dr Monty
@@GamingLoredSo crazy to think how these 5 perks carried on all the way to vanguard zombies lol.
Cool cool
