You can do the golden gun to still hunt golden gun shot swap slightly faster if you activate still hunt super shot first( don’t shoot), then activate golden gun shoot immediately, then shoot super still hunt shot. Not sure if this would improve the damage rotation, but it is slightly faster

He said it would be confusing/ hard to fit into a bait & switch rotation and brushed it off despite the fact he overcomplicated the process himself by adding unnecessary steps
I still think there are better options then it, its a great weapon don't get me wrong but its not nearly as game breaking or overpowered as lucky pants/celestial or just lucky pants with stasis hunter.
If you use golden gun first THEN still hunt, you'll get super energy back from Still hunt's raw precision damage, other than that, HORRIFYING 4 mill sub 15s I love it

In my opinion you should of used prismatic right after throwing the void grenade to weaken the enemy you get a decent damage increase for all damage while in prismatic but still crazy damage to be doing good job to that
Just found this out but still hunt perk still progresses even if you don’t have it equipped. Or it refills at rally, either one of those. I was doing onslaught and just swapped to it for the boss. But the perk was already full and I could instantly use the golden gun. Basically you don’t even need to have the weapon equipped to charge it up, you can just swap to it during dps. Either that, or rallying gives you the perk so you don’t have to build it up but still need it equipped. I’m not sure which one.
My math doesn't seem to work out on this one. This boss has about 7m hp, from what I know. That was less than half, which is less than 3,5 mil. Also, double Goldie dealt about 900k + 18*~80k for gl shots equals to 1,5 if rounded plus 900k, some nades, some sniper shots, all of that in summ deals about 200-300k more. So that's about 2.7-3 mil total. Something ain't right. Both from math and from health bar point. 🤔
They have rescaled a lot of older fights and bosses to be more challenging now with our current power level. If you don't believe me, go the Blind Well and see how fun that isn't now.

No, raids and dungeons aren’t at the power floor anymore and have surges so the power level difference means everything will seemingly have a little more health going forward

I think with the abyss mod from the artifact you probably want to frontload your damage to the heavy void weapon instead. IF we didn't have that it would probably work on the sniper, but still might be a dps loss long term to not boost the damage for the gl instead.

Transcendence adds damage, plus the radiant from the melee, plus a Prismatic fragment that increases light ability damage to targets affected with darkness debuffs. In this case its caused by the shuriken applying slow. The rotation here looked like this: Pull golden sniper, hit with magnetic grenade for weaken (fragment), hit with shuriken for radiant (fragment) and buff to darkness debuffed (fragment), hit crit with sniper (celestial), pull super and hit crit with super (celestial), apply shots for B&S proc, hit with B&S combo, reload edge tranist manually and pull Transcendence, use Transcendent Hunter grenade for shatter and ignition damage (as well as passive damage buff to all weapons), reapply shuriken raidant, hit with B&S combo then dodge to reload, use sniper for crits to reapply cascade point on Edge Transit, swap back to edge transit for one more cascade B&S rotation

Each gl shot hits for 80k according to damage numbers in video, 16 shots of gl fired, goldie hit for 500k and the still hunt 400k, 4 sniper shots is like 120k, throwing knife and nade add to like 100k at most. That's a total of like 2.5m which is nowhere near the damage numbers in the wipe screen. Also, the boss has like 6m hp or so and as you can see from health bar he's not even halfway dead.

This is a bad way to deal damage, what you should do is: pop caydes, pop transcendent, pop goldy, melee for radiant, weaken with void grenade, double fire headshot (2 celestial shots), hit with mountaintop, go hard with edge
Problem here is if you were to follow this rotation you would not be able to use your void nade because transcendent replaces it with the stasis/solar tripmine, so if anything you'd have to throw your void nade first then do the rest of the rotation.

Wipe number in game has always been wrong. It never shows true damage, that’s why Aegis has the best damage testing results because he uses DDT to accurately measure your true damage.
Also your damage numbers are bugged measured the health bar before to after damage you roughly did 40% of his health wich is equal to 1 428 938 HP over 28 sec that is 51 033 Dps
Not necessarily fake. Destiny 2's wipe screen damage numbers are almost never accurate (IIRC: the higher the DPS, the more inaccurate the wipe screen becomes). Due to many different factors, Destiny's servers sometimes fail to register damage numbers on a boss properly. This can cause inflated/deflated damage numbers on the wipe screen. The wipe screen is still a good way to determine your damage relative to your teammates but it's horrible for proper damage value testing. This is the reason why people who more intimately test damage numbers instead rely on measure the % of the boss health bar. Because every boss has a set health value we can much more accurately determine damage done by measuring the percentage of the health bar that is missing and multiplying that by the boss' total health
Damage will be even better with the weakening grenade fragment for void grenades, hope everyone is liking Final Shape :)
maybe you get more damage popping transcendence earlier, it has a weapons damage boost I believe. Not sure if its stacks

Far as I know it's only weapon damage, says as much in its description, Transcendence does increase the damage of Still Hunt super shot though.
