I have the same issue with my 10,000lbs toyota forklift , I follow this simple technique, oh boy it save me $1000 dollars and a headache. Very helpful. Normally the pump don't break and the control valve never break... its just a simple clogged. Thank you folks..
Thank you for making this video. Mine had the same problem and I was at my wits end with troubleshooting the problem. Ours had a different filter, but the local car parts store was able to source a filter that would work for us.
Are all these filters serviceable (cleanable? How many times can they be cleaned before you recommend replacing them? How much do these filters roughly cost for an authentic Toyota filter? Great video btw.
I’m not 100% sure about the price, but I would go ahead and replace it if it’s too dirty or if you suspect that the hydraulic fluid is contaminated. You can clean them as long as you don’t see metal fragments or contamination.
thanks for taking the time making these videos.. I have an electric lift and it goes up and down but no side shift or tilt. i can hear the solenoids clicking when actuated but get no movement with the rams. next i was going to take the solenoids out to see if there pushing fluid or do you think a dirty filter would caus two out of three controls to work? thanks

What is the model of the forklift?
could this be the problem on an electric forklift that the hydraulics don't work on?
It’s likely. Does it throw any codes?
@@theforkliftguy no. would you have an email address we could maybe email you and send some pictures? i think your in the usa?
@@ForestryLandConsultant yes, USA. Liftworx@aol.com
How much the labor sir?
Not sure. About 2.5 hours if done quickly maybe less
That needed a full hydraulic service especially that the filters were that bad.
Don't clean oil filters above the grass dude.... That's just really stupid
Thank you, I will keep that in mind.
