Man, this is such a pure Mechabellum experience. This is the kind of magic that can only happen at this MMR when people have no idea what's going on outside of cool robots shooting other cool robots.
people gotta remember that spawns get all upgrades. Getting a single steel ball or a single phoenix or a single sledgehammer just to get upgrades on all the ones you produce really makes them stronger
Just started playing this game and I gotta say that so far I find Sledgehammers to be the most useful/economical unit in the game. They level up and upgrade really well into disgusting amounts of hp. I've been trying hard to learn all the counters and watching these guys basically just build whatever is refreshing.
If he had hp link instead of range those sledges would have been immortal. - until countered sure. But ur right, that hp pool gets super efficient with ups.
Henry really had it planned out long-term. What a win. I'm just waiting for the game to come out for free to try it out. Red should have used more marksmen, crawlers and fangs instead of mustangs for God's sake and gotten phoenixes and single units of steel balls and sledge for those unit-wide upgrades.
This game would have made a great,or one of the BEST RTS of all time. Or you could make it like a factorio or something like that,where in the back you have your base,collecting materials etc and in the front you produce your war machines and fight wars. Depth to the MAXIMUM!
The game's still in early access. The meta game changes enough that nobody has anything close to making this game solved. All it takes is a fresh face willing to adapt to the new metas faster than anybody else. I mean hell, Starcraft 2 and Age of Empires 2 are ancient compared to this game and new pro-players are still appearing for those games because they get balance changes still.

would've loved to see one phenix bought just to get reincarnation and range for them.
I mean, there were a loooot of things that everyone would have loved to see haha
Shield on the phoenix would also have been very good. The only thing shooting them were marksmen.

Crazy how the round 3 speed upgrade actually mattered too. There would not be a round 12.

Wasps with Barrier could have been SUPER effective for Red

What about all the level 200 marksmen with no expert upgrade? Dude Henry was leaving so much damage and range off the table.
