....... CLIFFHANGER!!! I think you got it. Italy? France? It's good to tell your state of mind. I do it too. You can't show only good stuff otherwise, we would run out of content. I shot a video today with another local UA-camr, we went thrift shopping, found lots of treasure, i stayed within my budget and we ended the day at a chocolate shop. So much fun!!!! It's gonna be up on my channel Friday ❤

Dari, there is only one gentle suggestion I would make about this new video. I would change the graphic in the title card to: "Rejected?" with a question mark. That way it fits with your video's theme of wondering whether or not you received your Visa. Otherwise, it looks like a statement of fact. It will help with any grumbling that might occur that you are click-baiting your audience. Having seen your prior uploads, I know that hasn't been your style. Anyway, just a friendly idea.

We've DMd about this, but I don't think we mentioned that if you get accepted and start your studies, other opportunities become available. They are called "assistantships" and it's basically work for grad students: research, teaching and whatever else professors may need help with. The restrictions have certainly made if harder, more expensive and time consuming for you to go through the visa process. Things were so much easier not so long ago. I was lucky in my youth not to have to deal with all this bureaucracy. Not sure I would have been such a willing traveller if I did have to deal with all of that. Really admire your dedication to pursuing your travelling dreams despite the burdens of all this red tape. Good for you and good luck with your application.
I am thinking you will likely seek out the warmer countries for your visa application so guessing this will go back to Greece. Maybe not - but that is my guess.

Some EU countries are still interested in Russian tourists.
But in general it is currently difficult to get a full six-month Schengen visa.
You must prove that you will return to Russia. If you have a well-paying job in Russia and if you have an expensive house in Russia or have school children, it becomes easier.

You can have a 90 days for tourism or business purposes. However if you are planning to study, work, or live in one of the Schengen countries for more than 90 days, then you must apply for a national visa of that European country and not a Schengen Visa. Also the visa is only valid for 90 days in a 180-day period of time even if you hold a multiple-entry visa for Europe valid for up to 5 years.

(But that was a sneaky final shot... ) Funny about going back to your parent's apartment-- It's so universal a feeling (it's a "thing" here in America-- apparently it's a much more common thing these days. A sign of the times, alas!)

    What an interesting video today.
First I hope you won't let the TROLL'S mess with you. All the hate is completely unjust and you are simply getting targeted by lesser, small and narrow minded people. Don't feed the TROLL'S by answering or giving them any attention. I hope your YT community will help and support you in this.
Family is nice... but at a distance some time, happens to most people I guess. Good to see that you could seek refuge at a friends place. At least your baby boy enjoys you being home and spending time with him.
Your description of applying for a visa is just as complicated that I feared. But you seem very organized and managed to coordinate with your friends in Europe, very nice job.
I don't know if you got the visa or not??? But you leave one hell of a face in the end... A real cliffhanger that leaves the viewer just as anxious as you probably feel.
In any case, I know that you can deal with anything and that you will allways be allright in the end.

Did you come across Freikorps or SA troops who beat you up because you were Russian? I know Germany quite well and have been there often. Berlin is one of my favorite cities in Germany next to Hamburg, the whole Rhineland and Bavaria. So let me ask you a simple question, Dario Stepanovna? What don't you like there?

Dari, Read the hate comments you showed on your screen. If I were you I would block them from commenting on your videos immediately. No sense in letting them spew their hatred for everyone to see. In your business you need a thick skin when reading your comments. My hope is that you not let a few bad apples ruin your day. I for one hope that your wishes and dreams to see the country’s of your choice do come true. Then when you arrive and create another video we can all experience it through your eyes. Take care and above all please stay safe.

If you can make it to the U.S. then you can cross any state lines accept for Hawaii and Alaska because you either have to cross the ocean or go through Canada but the other 48 states are no problem. It may be possible from Washington State to take a ferry to Alaska but I have never been out west as I live on the east coast of the U.S. but a lot depends on your availability of funds. Many people in other countries can't believe it but yes you can either drive or even walk across state lines. There is actually a spot out west where if you stand in a certain spot then you are in 4 states at once.

I am going to assume you got the visa and congratulate you. 👍 Would I also be correct in assuming the video editing work you alluded to is for other YT channels? 🤔 Would love to see an episode on this kind of work and the challenges of putting together a video from another creator.

Some people have no idea what it's like to live in a situation like yours. It's hardly understandable because in the west we're receiving a lot of information not only about Russia's invasion but about the violation of civil and human rights within Russia. Much of that is reminding me of a very unfortunate period in German history.
I'm wishing you good luck and good success. May times change.

So many challenges, but you come up smiling. We live so well in peace on a large island in my part of the world where the sun shines most of the time and only occasionally a bit too well leading ultimately to bushfires. I wish I could reach out and share some of our good fortune.

I just had a thought about some Russians on You-Tube who are now living in Canada and may be able to advise you on getting into the US, Australia or Canada. They are 'This is Yulia' and 'The Russian Dude'. Definitely Yulia talks about how she immigrated to Canada about six years ago and still does videos on immigrating to Canada.

Unfortunately, there will always be short-sighted haters for everything you do, especially on UA-cam. As someone who is aware of your prior work, I'm glad to see you trying to get abroad to study. Good luck. For what it's worth, this American hopes you're successful with your master's application. 👍 PS: Good cliff hanger! 😅

The calls to stay home and fight for regime change are made by people who have never had to fight for anything themselves, and are based on ignorance, hatred, and a lack of historical knowledge.
Most sane and intelligent people can distinguish individuals from their country and their government. Only via communication can we hope to progress as a diverse society.
