    This is the most insightful tip on the Schengen Visa Application I have come across, far better than the many videos filled with unnecessary introductions and drama. Emphasize the importance and relevance of travel insurance to your future travel plans in your cover letter to strengthen your application for a multiple-entry visa or a visa with a longer duration or validity.

    Most important point of all is the point of having money on your own. Othrs are no problem.
    Even if i finance the whole trip of my Filipina friend and take care of all, she will not have a chance to get a visa, for visiting or tourist, if she has not a monthly pay slip and bank account with money from at leas thalf year each month comming in.

    • @JenniferEstella
      @JenniferEstella  8 місяців тому +1

      It’s not the money. If you are financing the whole trip and have the proof for that, then the financial capability is covered. However, your friend also needs to prove that she will leave the country accordingly. How? Certificate of Employment, payslips, owning a business or owning as asset - these could help prove that she/he will go home after. The money is not enough, she/he needs to leave the country as well.

      I did get a dummy ticket for my application. Just note that the ticket is only valid for a certain period depending on the agency where you got it. The insurance, there’s no dummy, you need to buy an insurance. If you know the exact dates you are travelling, get the single trip insurance which is usually cheaper than multi trip (unless you are planning to travel multiple times, then multi trip makes more sense for you).

    • @JenniferEstella
      @JenniferEstella  Рік тому +1

      Hey @rozinarafiq2360, I assume you’re applying with TLS. They don’t charge the actual visa fee (€80) online- only on your appointment. You only pay online for the extras (premium, courier return, etc.) but you can also purchase this on your appointment day.
      The premium appointment is merely a time slot outside of their normal working hours. There’s no special lounge or queue for this. It’s worth it if your travel is in 2-3 weeks, otherwise you can wait for the next slots to open up. You need to be fast tho, the normal times sell out like hotcakes!

      You need to tell them your travel dates at the minimum. You can try to apply for multiple entries if you can provide details of your future travels. That does not guarantee multiple entries, but it’s worth a try.

      In general, embassies don’t advise buying tickets because it won’t be refunded by the embassy. If your application is declined, that money is wasted (unless you have it refundable or rebookable). They usually ask for a flight reservation or detailed travel plans.

      Hey. We have the same issue. I wrote them an e-mail and complained since there were no open slots for weeks. Maybe they are overwhelmed by the amount of applicants or they even fired personal during the pandemic. How should one properly plan a trip like that since you have to be physically present in Manila for the biometric data? This is their answer:
      Kindly be informed that the appointment slot for the month of October has opened in the last week of September.
      However, Kindly be informed that the appointment slots for October are fully booked and appointment schedules for November are not open yet. Appointment slots for the following month usually open on the last week of the current month.
      This would mean in my understanding that next week (Monday) the slots for November open.

    Question -- in these long term 1 year , 2 year visas, the duration of stay is 90 days so does it mean that in these two years I can be present in schengen area only for 90 days or is it the circulatory visa that is referencing the 90/180 rule which means 90 days in the 180 days and all. Please help clarify. How to be 100% sure?

      It depends, do you have single or multiple entries? The duration of stay is for every visit to Schengen area. If multiple, then every visit, you can stay for 90 days, fly out of the Schengen area, then fly in again and your duration of stay renews.

Do you recommend if I tick off the multiple entry or a single entry? Coz I have heard that even if you tick a single entry they can give you a multiple entry. • @JenniferEstella

      I suggest to tick the multiple entry visa, only if you have documentations for multiple travels (e.g. mention in your cover letter about your other planned travels and add the itinerary if you already have it). That increases the chance of you getting multiple entries.
