Ali and Sean from hot ones are the best interviewers hands down. They’re the only people where a normally abrasive actor seems to have a genuinely good time answering questions.
Ali is such a lover of film and he just projects that in his interviews. He's always got a movie reference in the back pocket. Even the actors are like "where did that come from?" A breath of fresh air really
Love how anya calls Ali “Angel” at the end, very sweet you can always tell actors enjoy there interviews with Ali I bet there sad when it’s over and they go back to the same old boring questions
I think part of it, is that Ali can connect with people at a human level and have a normal, casual conversation, but still be well informed. That’s why I like this as well as Hot Ones with Sean Evans; great hosts/interviewers.
@@GrantKanigan Graham Norton show also does it great. Not only that, you can see there all sort of artists telling their own stories and interacting with each other in casual conversation, sharing anegdotes, talking about their work in informative but also funny way. There is not many people who can create such fun atmosphere where you have to ask people the same questions theyve been asked hundred times before at the same time.
Honestly everytime i see him i just think about 'about a boy' its fucking insane to me that its the same person. Crazy to have aged with him, makes me remember that actors are real people
What a fantastically led interview by Ali Plumb. Seriously, what a masterclass: arriving prepared with a deep love, whilst graciously giving your guests supportive space and being willing to be playful with them.
@@Kameramansando if you don’t like his personality then that’s your valid gripe. From a professional standpoint though, it’s refreshing when they’ve been out marketing for weeks with tons of awful interviews, most of which can get excessively repetitive, sometimes mean and oftentimes intrusive for no good reason.

The attraction to the old Mad Max movies was the rawness and skills of budget Australian film-making. It was nice that with Fury Road they revisited that by making the actual cars and not falling into the trap of overusing CGI.
I read there were lots of complains from environmental authorities during Fury Road's filming... therefore I understand and would agree if they used more CGI in Furiosa's. Film industry also needs to be sustainable

I was just rewatching Fury Road for maybe fifth time (my favorite movie in last decade together with Big Short and maybe Dragged Accross Concrete) and he is really important part of why this movie is good. And not just because his line What A Lovely Day :D
what a superb movie ralph fiennes stole the show and everyone else enhanced it. perfectly cast and thought provoking, engaging, suspenseful, dramatic, and hilarious, which are rare elements to be found together, much less occurring simultaneously throughout an entire film. awesome performances all around. shoutout background chefs to went through an entire shoot while cooking
Fury Road is such a perfect movie. I’m kind of afraid that the Furiosa prequel is going to undo all of the gorgeous character work done for her in Fury Road. But I feel a little better knowing Anya got such a personal perspective from someone who worked on the first film.
What a combination! The chemistry was great all around. So fun questions and they are all charming! I am fans of all of them! Anya is out of this world beautiful. She is talented and extremely personable as well. Nicholas is also a wonderful actor! Seems like a really good guy! I think both of them can do what ever they want. She's too busy banging out top notch movies. I heard somewhere that actors prefer Movies to TV as it's better money, shorter projects and you're able to play way more roles (if you have range then this is a plus).
It probably was offered to her tbh and she likely turned it down because leading that would keep her busy for 6 months out of the year for several years and thus prevent her from taking on the range of roles that she currently is. Being on a hit TV show is often quite bad for an actors film career, even if they;'re super popular, because there's way less flexibility to your schedule.

I've never seen this interviewer before. but he's fabulous! I was thinking that the actors must enjoy talking with him more than most because there are fewer inane, canned questions.
Do yourself a favor and watch a lot more of his interviews. They're infinitely more satisfying than most Late Night talk show interviews. (Graham Norton, Craig Ferguson, and Conan being exceptions)

I first learned of Nick through Warm Bodies playing as hopeless romantic zombie, R. Then Jack in Jack, The Giant Slayer... then every movie he is on, he's been nailing his roles. One of my favorite actors... Anya was magnificent in Queen's Gambit as well as in New Mutants...
I never watch previews of movies or read reviews about them. I love to know nothing and simply let it unfold. My husband laughs because I will plug my ears and close my eyes during commercials. =) This was, most certainly, one of the movies where I was completely surprised. It was a fun ride!

I really feel that Anna Taylor-Joy could play a sadistic/psychopath Harley Quinn. Positively meant, she has that set of eyes that stare at you, making you feel unnerved and that you think she can jump at you any time.
