And here is my tribute for some of the strangest Batman villains out there: the Ventriloquist and Scarface! I’ve always liked this duo but I’ve never thought that much about them until recently when Mr. Rogues made a top 5 stories list for them.While I do wish that these guys had some more appearances (I think they would have been done well in a Batman Arkham game as well as Beware the Batman), I am glad that we have gotten so many great interpretations of the Ventriloquist and Scarface over the years. Honestly, I kind of feel that if these two hadn’t appeared in Batman TAS back in the day, there is a chance they might actually be forgotten villains today like a lot of the other Bat-rogues created by Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle. But thank goodness that didn’t happen. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my tribute for a pair of minor but still great Batman villains.
If you’re wondering why I’m back much earlier than I said I would be, it’s because I managed to find a loophole in my editing software that allowed me to fix my problems with it for the time being and I also some free time to do some video making. I still have some other technical issues though and an even bigger problem on the horizon: that damn COPPA law. I was originally going to talk about it here but then I thought that since the next villain I’m planning to do is Ra’s al Ghul and his motivations as well as the song I chose for him actually kind of reflects how I feel about that new law pretty well, I’ll just talk about that thing in his video. I will probably not start working on it until December, however, because I am going to be REALLY busy with school. I just hope I can get that video out before COPPA is implemented. Hopefully we will meet again here next time.

Thank you! Ever since I heard this song in Arkham Asylum’s tribute for Two Face, I knew it deserved to be used in a tribute for Arnold.

(Also for some reason the fact that Scarface wasn’t alive and it was all in the guy’s head flew over my head as a kid)
Yeah, he’s almost always portrayed in a very sympathetic light which is nice. It actually wouldn’t surprise me if you thought that Scarface was alive. In the cartoons, the voice actors always do such a good job of making them seem like the Ventriloquist and Scarface are two different people. In fact, my little brother also once told me that he thought Scarface was actually alive.

Thank you as always. If you don’t mind me asking, are you planning to set your channel for kids or not for COPPA? I actually haven’t come to a decision yet.
I'm still not 100% sure, but I guess I won't set it for children; in the end most of my audience is between 18 and 30 and my content is not always for children (Gotham for example). I hope I helped you choose
Yes, I was actually thinking the exact same thing as you. The only issue is that they are being very vague on what they consider to be kid’s content and apparently if their machines see anything that is cartoon or animation they will think it is for kids. This is the main concern I have.

Thank you very much but I don't think I will do it for several reasons. In my videos I always try to match almost all the lyrics to the actual scenes and I don't think I will be able to do it that well with this character and song. Also, I only do tributes for villains and Red Hood is more of an anti-hero so I'm not sure if I even want to make a tribute for him. I really appreciate the suggestion though and if you ever have any others feel free to tell me any time. This suggestion also had very good timing because as you probably noticed it came at a time when I was mainly making tributes for Batman villains(and the next three or four tributes I make will also be for Batman villains).
Ok i understand:) You are not like psychomask who has a few antiheroes tributes( Vendetta, ozymantias, roschach) So who could do this( i can't because i already have other song and i don't think that i will making two tribute for them( with darkseid it was specially situation). And by the way i just uploading tribute to predator when i should public it? Now or after a four hours
@@tribute-verse5665 Honestly, the main reason why I probably won't do it is not because he's an anti-hero but because I'm not sure if I can make the lyrics and scenes match. If they did, then I probably would do it anyway. I guess the only person who can do it is Cr0me, maybe you can ask him if he wants to do it after he publishes his next video. I'm actually going to go to sleep soon so if you publish the video now, I'll wait for a bit and watch it before going to bed. If not, then I'll watch your video in the morning.

Yeah that's the beauty with Grant villains, it's kinda hard saying anything bad about them. Orthough I never really liked tas Scareface that much, I liked the episode of new animated adventures, but most of his solo episodes before were kinda uninteresting to me. Also does anyone else find it funny that Grant's most well known villains get worse when you introduce a second one of them and a third one?
Arnold and Victor are the only rogues created by Grant that have truly persisted over the years. Even Anarky is somewhat overlooked.

You don’t care for TAS Scarface? So does that mean the version of him in the Batman is your favorite? It’s kind of weird how people always give the New Adventures of Batman a hard time and yet Scarface was one villain that was superior in there (although his TAS design was definitely better just like most of the other villains). I can actually see what you mean about his TAS episodes, Read My Lips was kind of interesting though in my opinion although his other episode was more focused on Catwoman and Scarface could have been replaced by almost any villain. I actually think that if some more of Alan’s villains appeared on TAS, they would be as well known and popular as Wesker is today. Never cared much about Anarky though, I personally never found him to be that well-written or even that interesting. And Chuck Dixon was the one who revamped Firefly not Alan Grant.
I liked Stirk, Ratcatcher and the,Corrosive man. I wish they appeared in TAS. They have potential for good stories. Much better than using Quinn and Joker.
Agreed, I´d have defenetly appreciated it, to see them in the New 52 or Rebirth instead of the garbadge forgotten characters they introduced during it, like Mr Bloom or the ten nights of we haven´t used them since 2008 but here they are anyways Monster Men (sorry about that I just had to upload the same video nine times, I´m kinda annoyed).
