4:00 For those on motorcycles- we have parking for your bikes right on Ojai Ave. There is a water fountain and a bench right there and restrooms just a few steps into Libbey Park. 4:00
I lived in the back area of Ojai near the Foster Freeze in the 1980's. There was a small community there. My parents had horses on a small ranch. I think they abandoned the house because the well water was polluted from the oil in the area. The house was scrapped and I think that entire neighborhood disappeared in the 1990's.
@@adventureswithkendall thank you. I find this site too. Her funeral I assume was held there, at the Nordhoff cemetry? I am interested to learn about her late life, in Ojai.
Ojai was my home for a very long time. Some of my family still lives there. When the pandemic hit, there were a lot of people from Los Angeles, with money, that moved to Ojai and it’s never been the same. Not in a good way either. They don’t understand what Ojai really represents. 😢
@@Riceman-o1p if you’re talking about the schools, I will agree. But as far as what I said about LA people taking away the charm of Ojai? That’s a fact.
Every morning before school, me and my friends would always meet up in the graveyard, we would smoke a joint and then go to school. 😂😂 later I worked for the city of Ojai and I would set peoples ashes and place there tumb stones and also bury bodies there. Some of the graves go all the way back into the 1800s.
Cool … we’re going there next weekend and looking forward more after watching your show - Thanks !
That's great! I hope you enjoy your visit there.
Thank you for talking about Ojai . Was home to me for a long time.

Glad you enjoyed it! I was born in Ventura. Both are nice areas.
Hey mate! Ed Wood the director would've paid for that cemetery segment.👍

@@adventureswithkendall sure is! But it’s hard to find a job…

Oh wow, I didn't realize the area had water issues. What a bummer.
@@rwdchannel2901 That's too bad that the house had to be torn down.
Ah yes my town
It's a great area!
Ojai is already crowded and more people means even more crowding.
I went to high school there when I first arrived in the US 😂
Great area!
Hi, can you please tell me if the actress Käthe von Nagy is burried in the Nordhoff cemetery?

According to this site, her ashes were scattered.

That's a shame.
@@adventureswithkendall it is a shame. And the private schools for children? My advice… don’t do it.
Not true, just depends on what you want to look at and how do you choose to look at it. That's your reality, not mine.

this guy wears a cute little hat.

It's not the typical cemetery. It certainly has an old graveyard vibe.
