You know Blade Runner is a special film when the likes of Anthony Hopkins quote it.
Great advert and background music. Anthony Hopkins is a world class actor and orates the classic lines from "Bladerunner" superbly.
Every time he says the last two lines, I start to cry a little. Just the way he says it then the beaming smile afterwards just kills me.
Turia , your right "like tears in rain" from Hopkins is brilliant, try pinks song sober - "I fear the silence cos it screams the truth"
If you have sleeping issues you will really relate to this lyric :)
It doesnt matter about the quality.
Its his voice. The quote. The music. The feeling.
I love this advert. Quite possibly the best advert ever made, in my opinion.

Indeed he does. And what he says about the 'Tears IN Rain' scene in Blade Runner is spot on. My favourite cinema moment of all time.

I hate to sound corny but this advert will " stay with me forever " - Anthony Hopkins talking about a brilliant film, a great setting, amazing song in the back ground and sky tv.

I thought this the moment I first saw this ad about 10 years ago. I knew it will engrave into my mind for the rest of my life, everything about this ad is perfect, the scenery, the music and they even chose one of the best story tellers in the world.
Today we don’t see such eloquent and passionate ads anymore, we only see regurgitated pc drivel.

Agree'd, Bladerunner is one of the best scifi's ever made. I love this advert, the music, the setting, Mr Hopkins and I even find the female narrator's voice very calming. Good stuff :)
I love Blade Runner so much, and the Blu Ray is amazing. It looks like the movie was shot yesterday.

What are you talking about? He even says "in Blade Runner a scene with Rutger Hauer". In the longer advert he quotes Gloria Swanson from Sunset Boulevard.

I think it was a good advert and i'm glad hopkins didn't put too much emotion into it, nobody will ever be able to get even close to the original and i think hopkins knew that so didn't try. The ad will remind people of one of the greatest speeches in film history.
I'm pretty sure he's talking about "The Shining" starring Jack Nicholson - adapted from a Stephen King novel

Except that he's not trying to recreate the scene - he's just showing us what it's like to relive a classic movie moment in your head (something I'm sure we all do everyday - it's just that Anthony Hopkins can deliver it with beautiful, consummate ease).
He kinda looks like Hauer.

Yea me neither, try some Ludovico Einaudi stuff instead, very similar and I know you can buy his stuff as sheet music

What is up with his neck...it puts me off
this ad murders a beautiful moment from a sci-fi classic. his voice is so monotone and the reading is devoid off all passion. rubbish :(
The irony is that this video isn't in high definition at all.
