Like I said when you asked for suggestions, I love B&M Rods! On the links though, whenever someone uses something that I like, I ALWAYS look below for a link to it. It's disappointing when there isn't one because I'll probably just forget about it and never look it up. That's just me though.
I ordered one through your Amazon account/link ( I hope you will get the commission) and received it last night first impression is super light and looks very solid and high quality 👌 Thanks for the suggestions. Please do some reel reviews for it.
Thanks! I already exchanged that low profile Coldwater for a round one lol! Once I get to fish with them I may do a reel video. I like the round coldwaters and wished Okuma made a non line counter version. There really isn’t anything like it for the price.
Where can one purchase a Mel bait tank and price. Thanks. Good info. I would add a dimmer switch to regulate the amount of use for battery. Meaning to slow flow or increase flow of oxygen and water
Are you still an Amazon associate? How does all that work. Wondering how it works, I'm finally going to be ordering 3 battlecats and 3 okuma coronado cdx reels next weekend
You buy anything after you click an associate link I may get a commission (24 hour limit after click). Like clicking a link to the hooks I like to use here: amzn.to/3MPtFcA (you don't have to buy the hooks, just navigate after to what your buying).
Ok thanks! They seem like amazing rods for big Lingcod from the Oregon coast, and not as expensive as most! Just the salt I would be worried about, I guess just use mono so the braid doesnt corrode.
I’ve had catfish rods as short as 6 foot and as long as 12 foot. The 7’ 6” ones are perfect for boats! 8 foot are to long to handle and 6 foot is to short causing line to rub on edge when they run under the boat.
I have not been on the Xpress H20 yet. I am told the bow is a little wider but not by much. These boats are built to ride smooth and they do! The sacrifice is a narrow bow. Thank you for subscribing!
Here is an Amazon link to the rod (I may get a commission if you buy): amzn.to/3VRBS2Q Here is a link to my Amazon list of products: amzn.to/3iyQZQr
How can i make the link please.
Nice rods i would really love to buy too of them please give me the link.
amzn.to/3VRBS2Q is the link in the post above.
Have 1 Elite 7.5 ft and 2 Silvercat Magnum 10ft rods….love all 3
Awesome!
Love the new rods... I have one as well... Best rod I've used in a long time... You won't be disappointed...
Awesome!
I have the first version of the regular silver cat rods. They are great and are also good for carp. I will have to try an Elite. Thanks for the video.
You are welcome!
I have a Silvercat Magnum and I love it! The Elites are around $90 in my city.
I saw they are that high on the BnM website.
Those are super great rods, I'm hoping they will eventually make a 6ft version for kayak catfishing
Agree!
I have a few of these and love the action and the price

UA-cam is funny about links so I have to be careful until I reach “big” status.

@fishingwithbilly Thank 😊. I am a new angler from Southern California and I use your videos as a crash course 😉
Nice rods. I have two of the original silver cat spinning versions.
I agree they are very nice!

Never tried these but I have the normal silver cat, I assume they’re pretty similar except in medium heavy?
Yes they are very similar.
Awesome video will there be another tackle tuesday review video on these rods?
Maybe someday! Right now Tuesdays are #shorts
Ok
Hey Billy would you be interested in fishing catfish tournaments? I’m in North Alabama. I primarily drag and have caught a 70,56,53,50 last week.
I do have some interest. I can't with my current boat.
@@TNRVG I have an 18’ boat 10 rods and all the tackle. I just looking for someone who has a great attitude whether we win or lose.
You might have a change of heart with that braid if you're going to pull planer boards. It can be a pain in the rear end if you know what I mean.
The expense may change my mind too!
Hey Billy...can I use these with a spinning setup?
I think they do have a spinning version of this rod. My links are for the casting version and would not work with spinning reels.
@@TNRVG thank you
Yep 23 bucks at the rural king here in pa right now
I am hoping they drop the price soon at mine! They look lonely in that barrel!
80something in the US, 224 up in canada... dang
Ouch!
I’ve been looking into the elite light by bnm
I didn't know they made them. I had to look it up after your comment!
Did you ever get the elite light? And if so what are your thoughts?
Do you think the guides would hold up to saltwater
I really don’t know. They are stainless steel guides. I know most saltwater lures have stainless hooks so they last longer.
Ok thanks! They seem like amazing rods for big Lingcod from the Oregon coast, and not as expensive as most! Just the salt I would be worried about, I guess just use mono so the braid doesnt corrode.
I don't want a 7' 6" rod. Seems like most of the newer rods are that length!

Wrap a piece of electrical tape around the reel and tie the braid directly to it. It won’t slip at all.
That is one way to do it!
That's a fact
Hey Billy im a new sub. love the boat im looking at that or the xpress h20 bay would love to hear your thoughts thanks 👍👍

@@TNRVG thanks maybe you can do a comparison vid one day would love to see how they stack up on stability
