Also, Marc, what made that callback better was that in the original moment, Bucky was protecting him. In the Civil War version of that moment, he was protecting Bucky. Full circle!
I watched Tusk and knew nothing about it. I found out about an hour after watching it that it was a Kevin Smith movie and I was like "Oh.... oh well that explains a lot."
I love this show, but for the love of Buddy Christ, there isn't one more mike in this studio to place near the producer who has something to say EVERY EPISODE?
+Allen Shockley I totally agree with this. Also for anyone still listening via podcast/audio it's almost as if Kevin and Marc are reacting to... nothing. PS- also love the show, keep 'em coming- but some more critique would be nice- Is everything wonderful/awesome?
i hate to be THAT guy. But yall used the exact same thumbnail for this episode as you did for episode 43 and this thumbnail has incorrect info on it about the show
6:55 I LOVE Jersey Girl! That was just a great movie! I don't see what people didn't like about it! Great characters you feel for, funny, a strong story ... just a great movie, man!
I am not on Twitter, so I will state it here. I love Kevin Smith's attitude. Why shouldn't he make films that he likes. Tusk scared me, hope Yoga Hosers is as much fun (w/o foreign subtitles) as the trailer looks.
+Mariko True Bravery is lacking among modern directors, Smith has that in spades. Abrams gives you what you always wanted. Smith gives you what you needed, and didn't know it yet.
Once again Marc and Kevin kill it. I just can't thank you both enough for doing this for all of us. Bernardin has made a true difference as a buffer to Kevin's franticness
Of course people remember all those characters, Penny Dreadful is combining all the classic monsters right now (and just introduced Dr. Jekkyl) in a bloody brilliant way. Highly recommended, if you've been missing it so far.
+Jake Stanley check out Double Toasted, if you like this show you should also love the guys over there. A lot of humor and swearing involved in their reviews just like Kevin Smith.
Kevin, I don't know if you actually check out the comments on these videos, but I did want to thank you for sticking strong to the message that you have been putting out over the last bunch of years regarding taking chances and stepping out there. Fear can bind you up as a creative person. Regardless of how people receive your films, you've definitely matured enough to be able to take it in stride and keep doing what you want, and that is very inspiring and it gives many of us hope that we can find that opportunity for ourselves.
I think I understand what the guy meant about "grounded". When I was a kid, first getting into comics, I was an X-Men fan but not a fan of Deadpool. Even as a child, I was like, "...this guy isn't taking this s#!t seriously enough!", lol.
Man I don't know if you'll read this but you've really awoken my inner filmmaking desire. Can't wait to see Yoga Hosers, and thank you for one of the best episodes of the Flash yet.
Hey guys! I know it is unrelated to anything that you talk about in this episode, but I recently rewatch Creed, and because I know you liked it, I wanted to tell you about a little thing that I noticed (tiny SPOILER ahead) At the beggining of the movie, Adonis is watching in his giant UA-cam proyector the first fight between his father Apollo and Rocky. After a while, donis stand up and start shadowboxing. But if you watch closely, Adonis isn't just practicing moves, nor doing exercises. Adonis is actually mimicking the movements of Rocky in that fight. Witch means, in an almost liteleral way, that Adonis, at that point of the movie, is fighting against his father. I don't know if you noticed that (you probably did) but, in any case, I wanted to mention it... Isn't that awesome? :)
I love this show! You guys don't even struggle to keep things awesome and interesting, I wish it would go longer! While sitting here building things in Lego Worlds, or crushing Barbarian Armies in Rome II, this is so great to watch! Keep this going! Its so cool! Absolutely captivating at times, and always uplifting!
watched the trailer after hearing about it here and even though i had a terrible day at work yoga hosers trailer made me smile and got a laugh out of me so thank you
Kevin Smith, The Flash is my favorite super hero ever. I've watched every single episode of the show 3x and I must say The Run Away Dinosaur is hands down my favorite The Flash episode ever. Thank you guys.
to be honest I didn't love Tusk and I am not really looking forward to yoga hosers but I still love the fact that Kevin Smith doesn't give a fuck about what other people think of his movies. you rock Kev
Kev dude, Of course you did great with The Flash. You're passionate about the subject matter and you got to work with a script with great dialogue. Fantastic job sir, I loved every minute of it.
I'm in one of those international markets and I have seen Civil War three times now, and know lots who have done the same. I think it'll still go a long way on this side of the pond. And I wish that Marvel would pay me to praise them.
Kevin, that ties in pretty well with Hugh Jackman's announcement and question last year when the idea of the next Wolverine movie was still in the early stages. He went on FB and asked the fans what they wanted to see for his last time as Logan and the overwhelming response was Old Man Logan. Supposedly the runner-up was to remake the war montage from Wolverine Origins into a movie of its own.
Thank you for making this channel and uploading on the the regular, I love just listening to the both of you talk about stuff I f-ing love. Just hearing other like minded individuals reminds me people like the shit I like!
Comicgirl19 spoke perfectly, on her show, about how Singer's X-Men tends to be too serious and flat, and how Deadpool had the most perfect depiction of them.
+cboehm24 Not just that, Deadpool made Deadpool look like Deadpool, and act like Deadpool. (but with so much extra) Colossus looked, sounded, acted like Colossus. (I personally thought his arms were to short) Nega Sonic Teenage Warhead is now, or might as well be, a full cast member of x-men and not just a 1 book then dead character. The crazy thing is, Deadpool made the X-men franchise look cheesy. It sorta was, but this is what I wanted to see in an X-men movie. (the characters! not the 4th wall stuff and the joking stuff) Colossus is a fucking tank with a huge heart and sensitive. He's also a way to show people the human side we should see in Russians. (I live in the US I'm appealing to my base existence) (I'm not Russian) It sucks imho that X-men: Apocalypse was already a go and in the works long before Deadpool came out. I think maybe, just maybe Fox could have learned to use the X-men franchise for what it is. John Hughes story but with super heroes. (sorta)
he was the guy walking out of the fast food joint with the girl and had the hummer. she asked if it was his and he said yeah. but when the the zombie guy came up and started tearing it apart he said it was his mom's car! haha
+Jonathan wyatt he was the guy whos car got destroyed , then screamed thats my moms car , kevin also cast him as one of the bad dudes at the end but he was wearing a mask
I really don't understand all the hate on Kevin's films. I really enjoyed Tusk. I Thought it was amazing. Even when I was listening to the podcast before he made the film; I was straight away tweeting WalrusYes lol
When Marc said "Purple words" I was all like: "Way to show your geek cred with an MMORPG reference (epics)", but then when he said "Purple pros" I was all like.. "oh, writers reference.. alright, "i'll allow it!""
Your films are always great and interesting Kevin, you actually are a creative person being creative, and its joyful to see at least one film maker isn't carrying 500 suits on his shoulders.
Somebody asked me the other day if I would recommend Red State. I didn't what to say, I was like "I liked it a lot..I don't know if I would recommend it". Liking Kevin Smith movies takes a very specific perspective.
You kinda have to go into the, with special lenses on. Cuz if like Zack and Miri or Red State for example are your first time exposed to his materiel you'd be like "What the F*ck is this?"
+presterjohn71 I can't believe Marc doesn't know about Penny Dreadful. So much good stuff coming from over the pond. Even Jekyll andHyde isn't so bad (however, not nearly as good as Penny Dreadful). In contrast- the Houdini Doyle thing on Fox is just terrible. We should leave the Victorian stuff to the UK
Came here to say this. Marc and Kevin, drop all your shit RIGHT NOW and fucking go watch Penny Dreadful and have all your monster crossover dreams come true. Fuckin amazing cast to boot. Uuuuhhhhhhhh bonerrrrf
I literally just finished watching Deadpool on dvd. (I saw it in the theatre and even with only 9 other people in the place I missed a lot due to other people being in the theatre). Having watched it alone, I teared up at least twice. Action yes, it's good. Humor, really good. The romantic feel in this movie is just fucking amazing. Morena deserves a fucking award. That's some amazing acting especially if you take into account the people/situations she was working with. I never noticed it in the theater. It has now inundated me. I loved the move before, but holy fuck. It hit my heartstrings.
As a proud Canadian and KS fan, I will wait for the official trailer. 😜. I'm a tad bored of waiting.. Just say'n. Your episode was perfect. Honestly, giving you the Mother'sDay episode was a bit of a PUS move on their part. You ROCKED it. 😇
You da man! You dropped Stuart Gordon AND Byrne/Clairmont BOMBS! Mark, nice Young Frankenstein ref. Missed the show in Phoenix. Mother's Day weekend and all. But, the next time you guys are in town dinner is on me.
Personally, I like to have Kevin Smith vids like these and Comic Book Men videos playing at different times of the day. Makes me feel like these are my friends. Mostly because I miss the friends I grew up with and these guys remind me a lot of those days.
Flash season 2 episode 21 was one of the strongest episodes of the season. It was incredibly solid all the way around. I hope Kevin gets to direct on a regular basis.
Who knows, in a few decades time this trilogy of films Kevin Smith is making, might be viewed as his most interesting body of work. Good on him, for making what he likes.

I'm not getting videos in my subscriptions for some of my channels today for some reason. I found this episode purely through a search for captain america stuff.
Kevin Smith has such a good attitude, he's so encouraging to writers, and he's very humble. Love him! And Mark of course
Also, Marc, what made that callback better was that in the original moment, Bucky was protecting him. In the Civil War version of that moment, he was protecting Bucky. Full circle!

i hate to be THAT guy. But yall used the exact same thumbnail for this episode as you did for episode 43 and this thumbnail has incorrect info on it about the show
Don't hate to be that guy, you're the only guy to say something. It wouldn't have gotten fixed if it wasn't for you.
*ALEX LUTHOR* is the trailer editor Kevin speakd of at 32:06 :-) Video is called *Captain America: Civil War Supercut - The Road To War*
I came here for 'Yoga Hosers' and proud of it.
Kelly Brincks i came watching yoga hosers and im proud of it
It says on imdb that Sofia Boutella from Kingsman is the mummy.
Thank you for the time-stamps guys.
6:55 I LOVE Jersey Girl! That was just a great movie! I don't see what people didn't like about it! Great characters you feel for, funny, a strong story ... just a great movie, man!
27:07 Marc drops a Young Frankenstein reference. God I love that man.
I am not on Twitter, so I will state it here. I love Kevin Smith's attitude. Why shouldn't he make films that he likes. Tusk scared me, hope Yoga Hosers is as much fun (w/o foreign subtitles) as the trailer looks.

@@s0c1al1z3dm3d1c1nelmao 7 year old and still one of the most embarrassing clown show comments I’ve ever read

+London James he's gunna die in second scene
+Michael Crosby lol! nailed it.
+London James black panther movie is going to have 90% black actors i read
+Josh Smith Interesting.....I was really joking though....but that is cool bro!!!
Once again Marc and Kevin kill it. I just can't thank you both enough for doing this for all of us. Bernardin has made a true difference as a buffer to Kevin's franticness

Super hyped for your movie Kevin!
These guys have been giving us non stop content. I'm loving it! We need to get Fatman on Batman syndicated on T.V.
Marc laughs like Billy from Predator
+Dick Butkiss Junior Holy crap, you're right!
days that these episodes come out make me so happy I feel a little hard on everytime. awesome episode guys!! keep it up!
Marvelous Marc Bernardin!
This is the second best show on UA-cam! Right behind Schmoes Know.
+Jake Stanley check out Double Toasted, if you like this show you should also love the guys over there. A lot of humor and swearing involved in their reviews just like Kevin Smith.
+Jake Stanley what about comic pop
Vanz Pictures Wow, you're ABSOLUTELY right... I'll put this at 2 still, ComicPOP! and Schmoes Know are tied for #1.
+Jake Stanley Schmoes know are less educated and less geeky than Kevin and Marc are.
you guys are always great thanks!!
I love Kevin Smith movies. You had me at "why cant they bring back remake good shows like BJ and the Bear.
Kevin, I don't know if you actually check out the comments on these videos, but I did want to thank you for sticking strong to the message that you have been putting out over the last bunch of years regarding taking chances and stepping out there. I love these. Perfect for smoking and nerding out for an hour.

This is slowly becoming my favorite youtube show.
My list of fav kevin smith movies goes like this Chasing amy, jersey girl, Clerks then clerks too, and the animated spectacular he did with jay.
YASSSS someone else who doesn't hate Jersey Girl! We happy few need to band together. We're real, Kevin. Really!
I like almost everything he did except Zach an Miri it wasn't a Kevin smith movie to me it felt like a seth rogan movie and I'm not a fan.
Jack Griffin was the name of the The Invisible Man, Claude Rains was the actor who played Griffin
I'm in one of those international markets and I have seen Civil War three times now, and know lots who have done the same. I think it'll still go a long way on this side of the pond. And I wish that Marvel would pay me to praise them.
LOL Love the Young Frankenstein reference!! Marc you're awesome. "Would you like a roll in ze hay?"
I know you know this Kevin, but you are a funny dude. Both of you are. This is a great show. I'm happy I came across it!
25:58 cant beat city hall! cute line flub lol
It cracks me up when you call the plays for the producer while in front of the camera doing the show.
Kevin, that ties in pretty well with Hugh Jackman's announcement and question last year when the idea of the next Wolverine movie was still in the early stages. I'm more interested in Moose Jaws. That's the kind of spectacle I want to see. I still see Yoga Hosers though.
I would love to see a Deadpool cameo with him just walking on turning to the camera saying hi and walking off
kev are you coming to Seattle this summer?
al they need is a line where deadpool says "I used to think I was in a movie"
I love Kevin, he has such a great and positive attitude its infectious.
You describe him perfectly.
you guys crack me up everyday lol. Keep up the good work👍👍👍👍
Roll in the hay roll in the hay... nice young Frankenstein reference Marc!!!! R.i.p gene wilder!!!!!

was I mistaken or did I see Muse was in the credits for flash? what part did he play because I'm a fan and I was looking for him?
he was the guy walking out of the fast food joint with the girl and had the hummer. she asked if it was his and he said yeah. but when the the zombie guy came up and started tearing it apart he said it was his mom's car! haha
+Jonathan wyatt he was the guy whos car got destroyed , then screamed thats my moms car , kevin also cast him as one of the bad dudes at the end but he was wearing a mask
+Jay Soileau greatest acting transformation of our time, I didn't recognize him and I'm a fan and I was looking for him. I smell an Emmy...
Loved your Flash episode keep up the good work.
I really don't understand all the hate on Kevin's films. I really enjoyed Tusk. I Thought it was amazing. Even when I was listening to the podcast before he made the film; I was straight away tweeting WalrusYes lol
who is hating on his movie? Clerks, Mallrats, Amy, Dogma are considered classics
I liked the guests last week, its like the old vids!!

Watched the trailer and it looks cool to me. Good job Kevin.
Yoga Hosers looks good to me, Kev. Stay awesome!
Enjoyed Tusk and look forward to the next two. Weird is good. thanks a lot :) p.s. Mark is awesome too
If you don't go down as the greatest sausage Nazi in history, Kevin, there is something wrong with the world.
Your films are always great and interesting Kevin, you actually are a creative person being creative, and its joyful to see at least one film maker isn't carrying 500 suits on his shoulders.
Damn, I love you more and more Mr Smith, your stans on living a rewarding life is joyous.

More Jay and Silent Bob... less Yoga Hosers. Jay and Silent Bob Awaken!!! Do it Now!
Never die Kevin!
I wish there were more of us in Canada. We'd make this trilogy EPIC!
Personally, I like to have Kevin Smith vids like these and Comic Book Men videos playing at different times of the day.
Makes me feel like these are my friends.
Mostly because I miss the friends I grew up with and these guys remind me a lot of those days.
There already is a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen-esque TV show, it's called Penny Dreadful.
When Marc explained the "I can do this all day" line I lost mind my for a moment.
:D
mine hits the water too.
dude, that trailer was fine, it made me still want to see it.
I Love How Kevin Reacts to Criticism .
Such a Funny Person , Also Keep The Uploads Coming Man !

Gremlins meets clueless? ok now I'm on board.
Loved your Flash episode really emotional, Just great. Looking forward to your Flash episode for season 3!
They should give the Deadpool guys an Oscar for braver for having the guys to post the test footage!
what if krypton isn't a superman version of gotham... but a DC version of game of thrones?
Love Kevin Smith films, but when are we going to see clerk's 3? it's time to do it, we need clerk's 3 NOW!
Why are Nathan Fillion and Green Lantern mentioned in the title card? I was hoping for some info about them (like what Nathan might do now that castle is cancelled... more firefly?), but there was no mention of them. The show was good otherwise though.
Dude, I think that Yoga Hosers trailer was funny. Provided it's supposed to be funny, well done!
YES!! Locke and Key is SO good. Excited that they're going to try again.
definitely seen footage of yoga hosers prior to tonight. and honestly the movie looks entertaining!
OH MY GAWD!!!! SOMEONE ACTUALLY REFERENCED JOHN BYRNE AND CHRIS CLAREMONT AND ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR 90S CONTRIBUTIONS---FINALLY. THANKS KEVIN
I'm not getting videos in my subscriptions for some of my channels today for some reason. I found this episode purely through a search for captain america stuff.
