I always thought that she should have recorded her own hits again on the diva album instead of the other songs. To hear her do a new spin on her old hits would have been great. Sorta like a live now thing.
Nice. One of my favorite that it seems she rarely performed at one point. Again, amazing how her voice changed through the years and she just rolled with it.
Love this live performance. Very rare where I love a artist live songs. Aretha voice is like an angel tho. Mia X reminds me so much of aretha speaking voice. she sounds so beautiful when she goes into them high notes. Sounds so effortlessly.
You know the amazing part about this performance is the fact that you don't want her to sound like 1980. By this point, certainly by 1990, smoking and age had deepened her voice but the "weathering" so to speak, makes it even more special.

She sure did roll with it. Just like time she evolved as did her voice. Her voice was and is who she was at the time. Queen forever.
