I agree. Both singers have amazing voices. I remember walking to the campus in Lafayette, LA listening to this song on a lite rock radio station playing on my Walkman. And for all these years, I only remembered the tune of the lines sung by Michael McDonald at 1:28 For some reason, I remembered it as a chorus rather than as a single person.
I'm a 20 year old and when i listen to these classics, I become so emotional. They don't make these kind of songs nowadays :(
