My cousin ,who always sang the Ojays songs to me growing up. He passed away about two years ago. I named my daughter Brandy. Of course, we all laughed when we found out what they were singing about. I saw the OJays last year and I have to say I jammed. Mr. Lavert sang his face off and this was one concert I had to get out of my seat and dance! I’m 68 but they brought back my teens and young adult life. Keep on doing it guys.

I was a very little girl riding in the back seat of the car of my sister and her new husband when I heard ‘The Backstabbers’ come on the radio. I fell in love with that song first and then once I learned who it was singing it, then The O’Jays. The might, mighty, O’Jays! I’ve Loved them ever since!

I was at that Chicago show also. It was nice. Decent replacement but u could tell Eddie was missing. I did catch them the next year w Eddie .
