- Non-Technical Skills (NTS) are the cognitive and interpersonal skills that support clinical (technical) skills. This short video is an educational simulation to highlight poor NTS practice during a cardiac arrest.
Please watch the video and think about the cognitive (decision making, task allocation, prioritisation and situational awareness) and interpersonal (teamwork, leadership and communication) issues.
This video is used by TSCSC to exemplify potential negative human factor influences on staff performance in a simulated healthcare environment.
This video shows poor practice and the staff shown are acting out a script (this in no way represents their normal professional conduct).
The content in no way represents safe medical practice, it should be used for human factors discussion only.
THE NURSE OMG!!! THE CLEAR EXAMPLE OF HOW TO DO NOT A CHEST COMPRESSION WELL...
This is painful to watch. Thank goodness it was simulated.
Omg!! I wanted to scream! Only thing missing was consultant didn’t shout at people.
the sharp scratch part was hilarious!!🤣🤣🤣
This is like... best case scenario in my country 🤣🤣🤣
Omg I’m so happy this was a demonstration of bad practice😅. I was about to go off in the comments lol
lol
I can see,,, but our country is improving
This is a example, we need to be serious not just too say: OMG OMG
Oh my God!!😅 Sad Facts are this is more likely to happen than not
🤣🤣🤣🤣 this was hilarious
The female nurse is not giving effective compressions
Yeah if that's your only problem with this I've got bad news for you
pretty much nobody gave proper compressions
Oh my goodness 🤣🤣🤣 I hope they are not registered to practice
