I have a question about your Kitchen Aid stand mixer. Do you leave it on that platform when using it? or do you still lift it off to the counter. What happens if you spill some dry mix like flour or wet mix like eggs/sugar.. does the mess end up inside the cabinet, or on the lifting device? I wonder if it's still your favourite after so many months of using it. (I wonder if I would I regret putting on in)
Great questions, Monica! I use the Kitchen Aid mixer on the platform when using it (it's really sturdy). I feel like if I were to lift it onto the countertop each time, it would defeat the purpose of having the lift. I'm not sure if this is the norm, but that's my preference! I've spilled plenty of things and the surface / cabinet are very easy to clean- it wipes down, no harm done. After having lived with it for over a year, I still really love it! I would definitely install another one in a future kitchen.

Thank you so much! Yes- it requires a specific type of fridge... they're called "panel ready appliances". You can do this for dishwashers too.

This is beautiful. I'm assuming your dishwasher control panel sits in front. How did you work around that. Wasn't able to see in the video.
Often the controls on the newest dishwasher models sit on the very top of the door, so you see them the moment you start opening the dishwasher door

The pull out mixer stand are there any issues with it being wobbly while using the mixer on higher speeds?
We haven't had any issues with stability or wobbling- even on high speed. It locks into place and feels very sturdy. Hope this helps, Alyssa!
