Absolutely love this! I’m presently making extra smoke oil storage for smoke units. (Not a job for the faint hearted!) My Queen Elizabeths twin chimneys now run for 30 minutes on 50 drops of smoke oil!!
Wonderfull ! Seems a busy stretch on the S&D. Great looking rolling stock. Thanks for sharing ! (I've been watching more of for nice video's and I enjoy - thanks )
I like the Bentley parked at the end of the platform. As I watch I am actually doing a picture of the S&D at Bath Green Park. With a balding middle aged man standing on the platform and photographing the 2P waiting to depart.
A whole world gone, recreated. that must have taken years to build..absolutely brilliant. Have a look at my G1 track...Lost railways of lincolnshire, film by Peter Jackson...took me 8 months to build working on it almost every day.
Nice touch with the Bentley! Congratulations on an altogether stunning model railway! Very impressed. Regards from Germany. PS. Is this a 4 or 7 mm model?
Hay! ......they semaphores are going the wrong way AND there at more than 45 degrees.........makes me soooooo angry!!!!! Do like the 'follow the engine' filming. Very good.... and the rest of it.
All this is new to me and i found it utterly mesmerising ...had me fooled..congratulations for a wonderful job..
love the squeaky wagon at the the end of the goods at around 4m30s. Very very authentic!
Very good indeed! Everything from the superb modelling to the sound and the smoke. Superbly filmed too imho.
Spotted Ivo Peters' Bentley there. A nice touch!

I was lucky enough to see the layout in the flesh, it looks just as good in the VT! Superb!
Had me fooled for the first half minute or so. Excellent modelling.
Superb re-creation of the S&D. I especially like the scenery on this layout.

Great layout.
very nice layout well done :-D
How many hours must have gone into building this layout? totally amazing.
From start to finish it was seventeen years
And I thought the S & D was closed years ago!
Fantastic, thanks. I loved the little fencing detail at 6:00 it looks like concrete post wire fence. Did you scratch build it?
Thank you for your kind comments. Yes the fences are threaded with five amp fuse wire. Effective but mind numbing!!!
Nice touch with the Bentley! Congratulations on an altogether stunning model railway! Very impressed. Regards from Germany.
PS. Is this a 4 or 7 mm model?

Fabulous Julian! What scale are you modelling here?
Hi bob. It is 7mm
