I can't even begin to imagine how popular the S&D would be today, had it survived the Beeching cuts.

Amazing! Very enjoyable, especially for someone like me who used to live in Bath and Somerset and grew up wondering what the S&D would have looked like when you could travel on it. Hopefully it might return one day.

That wasn't very fair having that West Country push that 4F over Maesbury Summit as well as pulling all those coaches.

Wonderful idea and very well put together! Loved it. I like the Yard Lamps are they proprietary or Club made? All very enjoyable. Best wishes.

Thanks Steve. It took a long time (years) before the technology was available. Wireless cameras previously available had been subject to interference.

Really enjoyed the video, apart from the worst rendition of "Ghost Riders in the Sky" I've ever heard.
You could see my old gaff on the run back into Green Park Station too!

What gauge is this layout? I am assuming either "O" or "G".

Very interesting and well done. Not sure about First Great Western!

      Thanks Barry.
I'm not sure about First Great Western either - but got lumbered with them by Bachmann. If Bachmann had known FGW were about to rebrand themselves GWR perhaps they would have stayed their hand. It's a long time since I had to stand on their trains......nowadays people give up their seats for me.
      Best Wishes,
      Philip
