@YourLifeIsWhatYouMakeIt that's what I was thinking. My backslash gets splashed when I made soups or fry food. I cook a lot. I currently have peel and stick tile and it's hard to clean. Looking for something more durable and permanent.

I just used a stone sealer they recommended at floor & decor

I haven’t had any issue. Could always add a poly to it to make it even easier
