Anyone notice when you play as Ms. Chalice the parry cards now have hearts popping out of them? That wasn't like that before. Probably because parry the cards with the dash move would be far too difficult without having the hearts rise up
What i don’t like about king dice is the length of that fight…they could have easily gave less HP to the mini-bosses…they take way too much time to kill.

Yeah they probably should've changed that line attack so that instead of moving up and down it moves left to right. Number 8 is also another easy boss two.
How did he crouch without getting hit by House Pocus attacks. That mf always hits me 3 times because it's hard to parry the hearts with Chalice and I can't escape the schools when the exit is right down or left down. I really hate Hopus Pocus and I'm angry at him, because he makes me weak when I fight other bosses or King Dice.
you have to use the crouch role on that boss, makes it so much easier. the skull attack is one of the hardest attack in the game in my opinion, but chalices dodge roll makes it easy. Also the vertical screen attack is just hard to time, and if its going down you have to dodge roll. practice makes perfect on that boss, he is very difficult to get the timings down
I'm kind of confused how did you get an s rank because I thought you had to beat the boss under 2 minutes with 3 hp, 6 super meters, and 3 parries or does the time not matter with king dice?
It has to be that either the time doesn’t matter at all, or it has a very large limit, like 10 minutes to s rank. I think they just axed the time limit for this mission because of how different the times can be when fighting different bosses
You don't need to be under 2 minutes, you need to be under the goal time, it happens that most bosses have 2 minute goal time, but I think King Dice has a much higher goal time. (I think Saltbaker's might be increased too?)
Here’s an idea if anyone wants to make some kind of mod that ramps up difficulty because I’m not going to be able. So how about for every king dice mini boss you beat a small mini attack gets added to either king dices actual attack or part where you roll the dice (or both, it’s up to whoever makes it) and they would stack up as time went on. Example: if you killed chips bettigan, small poker chips would start flying across the screen. Do what you like

I find this method much more easyier to beat King dices final phase than normally even got the rolling sixes achievement from doing it that way.

A tips is that you can automaticly get one on the dice if you hit it direct after king dice spawns it in!

hocus pocus is literally easy with chalice, just kill him quickly

I meant for just Chalice, like the game changes that specific attack pattern depending on the character. At least its still possible to do normally

I beat them both with cuphead and the entire game in 14 hours
I completed it in 7 minutes, I met all the requirements for rank S and I got a B+ grade 🤡

If you mean locking yourself in place when shooting, then you can just jump whenever you want. You can even move while jumping while locked
