You are right about the double jump. If you do the dlc boss fight with that spider. You can see that her normal jump is not high enough to jump from one level to the other

I am currently in the process of getting the P ranks and I can say rugged ridge is soooo much easier with her. I haven’t quite managed to finish perilous piers but I can quite easily get to the end with 3 HP

Man I remeber sweeating so hard as cuphead on rugged ridge probably the hardest challenge in the game right next to wally warbles s rank.
I used mugman and got all the p ranks first try
I had a WAY harder time getting a P in that level with her because you can’t control her jump height like you can with cuphead

The Pacifist ranks are going surprisingly well for me. I have successfully beaten everyone of them, except for Perilous Piers which is haunting me in my dreams. I want to grill and eat the lobster so bad..
I have a tip for you. Reach the octopus in by the end but dont parry his head. Also 3 or 4 lives(I recommend 4 lives so that you dont die) plus the invincibility or the shield from Miss Chalice. Then you can just dash in the ocean to reach the end

Another minor change - Pretty sure King Dice didn’t have a soul contract to earn before (I even checked an old playthough on UA-cam and didn’t see one there).
He has one now. You don’t get anything for it, it just comes on screen now after you beat him like the other bosses. They went to to trouble to add that in, though.
He must have done some gambling since

Was testing out Miss Chalice on Rugged Ridge, managed to get my P rank time down to 1:50. You know the golden platforms, seen at 4:58, you can actually short jump and dash from one to the other, little tricky but it sliced my time right down.
For me pacifist, is much much much easier with chalice. It took me adound 5hours to do perilous peirs to beat with cuphead. With chalice it took me 4 try’s

Well, if you wanted these to be easier, you could've parried off some pinks beforehand and use Chalice's heart super. Dunno if that helps or not but it wouldn't hurt to try.
2:19 you do a invincibility roll on the bottom platform, use double jump then dash, hopefully gets you far enough to pass it

I beat funfair fever with ms chalice recently and this is the thing
2:16 take some time out of your day to build up your super and use it when you get it. it goes twice but the helps you get pass the second if your quick enough

Still doing some toying around with overall game. Here’s a option for starting a whole new file (there’s probably some people who’ve been waiting to get the game once the dlc came out). Not only can you begin isle 4 after only doing Forest Follies, but you can start with a different arsenal if you do. You can show up to Pork Rind’s with 14 coins (or more if you do any King’s Leap challenges), and on the dlc isle, he’s offering different choices.
The 3 new weapons can be bought before any of the original, and you can get the HP ring as your first charm. Get the ring, and you can even get the Twin Heart before the single heart. He’ll also serve up the charge shot if you get one of weapons here. Or go back to isle one where he still offers the original lineup of stock. 14 is, of course, enough for two weapons and two charms, so you’ve got more options before even fighting a single boss. And of course you’ll get Ms Chalice just for taking the trip.
There isn’t a huge advantage, but enough to let you start a new game with things you couldn’t get as early before. I suppose for new players getting the Twin Heart right away would be helpful.

Thanks to miss chalice I was able to get my platinum trophy I Cuphead. I originally bought the game on Xbox when it came out and didn't finish it, cause I couldn't beat the bee
On the recipe for ms chalice level, when it’s zoomed out, you can see Easter eggs to different bosses, like Wally’s eggs, Werner’s soup can, a beppi donut and the root pack. That’s all I’ll say

Honestly with Smoke Bomb the lobster really wasn't that bad, I had more trouble on Rugged Ridge due to those stupid face things you need to parry
I think the carnival run n guns are very hard to pacifist with ms chalice, since you need alot of health.
Can't you grind for parries at the beginning and get get an extra heart and charge your super more

Did you know when you have thw Cookie charm on and agree to give the Contracts to the devil a new Photo Appears?
Bro when I was playing the gauntlet in isle 4 the knight or horse whatever. Whenever I t bagged him really fast, when he did the stupid hand gesture, he instantly dashes for me it’s pretty funny you should try it out.
Here’s a new development: You can now get to the Perilous Piers area ahead of the normal sequence. If you’re playing through a new main game, and you go into the DLC isle early, you’ll be able to go back to the other islands by talking to clock face. Then, just make it to the start of isle 3. Go back to I, II, or IV and take the boat back to III. It will take you to the docks before you’ve even opened the path the normal way.
What good does this do? Nothing major, but you can immediately do Perilous Piers to get the coins, and start isle III with Cala Maria before doing Honeybottoms or Brineybeard. Doing PP first also opens up the last mausoleum, the shop, and Werner Werman ahead of schedule. After that you’ll be trapped with no path to anything else, so you’ll have to jump on the boat again. Again, no great advantage here, but it just lets you mix things up if you’re doing a new play though. It’ll certainly be available to try if you went to isle IV right away to get Ms Chalice.
In my opinion Rugged ridge is waay more difficult than Perilius piers

I noticed the ms chalice jump high in the dlc bug boss 1st stage. As cuphead you can jump from Etage to Etage no problem but as Ms chalice you have to double jump to get to the next Etage
Double jumping is the same height as jumping and then parrying immediately
What I did for Perilous Piers is farm 5 parrys, set up my Shield Pal, then farm 5 more parrys in case I lose my pal before the octopus section.

Also for the cannons you can jump over the cannons what I do is I get the shield pal super parry a pink balloon use my super damage boost through the first line of robots individually roll through the second one then jump over the cannons

Its a little disappointing of how there is no run in guns in the dlc when it was first announced I was totally expected at least two new run in guns but I guess not.

I figured out that when you parry the cards against king dice as ms chalice, you have to parry at the end of the card before the parryable one, but you have to be pretty close to the top of the card (you probably new this but just in case)
so ms.challace can't use charms like smoke bomb?

Try beating every secret boss fight as ms chalice(what i mean by secret bosses i mean bosses like the secret guy that comes when you dont defeat the onion in the rootpack bossfight and the sally stageplay secret and the secret demon and angel bossfight and things like that)try doing it on exper mode for extra difficulty
