Hi, I didn't intend to come across malicious or insensitive towards you, but I have a massive pet peeve when it comes to people posting inaccurate lyrics for a song. Posting the correct lyrics is quite literally the entire point of even creating a UA-cam video that contains the lyrics for a song . Posting inaccurate/misspelled/lack thereof regarding any and all words or lyrics defeats the entire purpose of uploading a video. I do realize your comment was posted 6 years ago.. however, I really wasn't trying to come at you so much for grammatical errors my initial point is to ask you this: How are you going to claim (in your opinion) that this was probably "the most effort" you've seen put into a "lyrical video?" Also, just to clarify in case you're wondering, yes I edited the word "lyric" when I was quoting you to "lyrical" because lyrical is an adjective. An adjective describes a person, place, thing, or idea, hence the correct grammar would be, "lyrical video" considering the word "video" being a noun, "lyrical" describes it. They literally f***** up the first sentence in the song!😭 it is supposed to say "veins like a road map." It's even more irritating even having to correct you on that because the song is called chemical burns do you need any more contacts than the song being named chemical burns? You didn't notice the song being named "chemical burns" and the correlation of saying quote "veins like a road map" which I'm sure is in reference to injection of substance aka shooting up injecting drugs crush? I suppose if you never heard the correct lyrics and you saw this post and you thought these were the real lyrics then you wouldn't have made that correlation so my apologies if that was the case.
@@lisakarson3279 really unnecessary comment. first of all you said the first line is supposed to be "veins like a road map", which is exactly what it says in spike's video so it's not even wrong? unless "roadmap" vs "road map" is a noteworthy difference to you. even if it was wrong, the effort i was talking about is the great production spike put into the video. if the lyrics had a typo or were just a little wrong that doesn't mean effort wasn't put into it, art isn't just about accuracy. second, i wasn't using the word lyric as an adjective, lyrics are the subject of the video hence lyric video. you don't call music videos "musical videos". third you care so much about accuracy and grammar but said "contacts" instead of context. i really didn't want to even make a long winded reply to this but your comment was just so weirdly unnecessary and undermines what was just myself complimenting a video from a creator that i like. there's more important uses of time than correcting a 6 year old youtube comment, i feel lame even replying with something this long lol
spike if you get a notification and have to read this lol, the video is still dope. adding the fade-in on the lyrics for the slower parts, the black flashes for the kicks, the static lines behind the words, all tie it together in a really awesome way, fits your own style and the song very well. hope things are going as well as they can, your videos got me through a lot back in the day, and myself and a few of my friends are still big fans ♥

Mike turned down a record deal from puffy when he won blaze battle NYC. Just clowned everyone from first round to finals. At war with himself or not, he had serious integrity about his art.
