These car owners put alarms but no lock.
They have locks. Thats why the player has to break the glass
@@greekwatchcollector722 Only on GTA 4.
Nuclear and gta 5
In gta S.A.
They also keep the keys in the ignition ready to go
Everyone else: normal horns
Chinatown Wars: *Aggressive honking and flashing*
Is that not what car alarms are though
@h xd no, that's Chinatown in new york
I love chinatown wars

In gta, car alarm ends in a few seconds
In real life, car alarm ends until the car battery runs out
Lol image the pain on ppl who played gta before breaking into a car
Not all cars are like that irl some ends when they crank up some end after a few seconds
@@tylercox1875 well idk about that because my friends car alarm ends until the battery runs out lol
Here in Romania is illegal to use a car alarm which goes more than 3 minutes. Is not like someone is counting each minute, but well, the alarm has to stop after a short period of time. If the car alarm goes until car battery runs out the owner might get a fine for making too much noise :))
Y'all taking about how much time it takes to stop, here in my country cars dont have alarms. Even airbags are rare
I can't help but always be mighty impressed by GTA III in these vids. That game must have been INSANE to experience for the first time back in 2001.
I hope GTA 6 have the Chinatown car alarm hacking system and actual hotwiring so we can steal cars without turning on the car alarm unlike in the other GTA
Hopefully not. It's a lot of work just to break in and get a car. What if you're on a hot pursuit, need to switch cars and have to do all that unnecessary stuff and end up getting busted or wasted ? lol
@@Rude_Boi if you ever played the game you should know there's some cars that didnt have an alarm only the expensive one that have it, and/or you could just simply approach a ped car and hijack it
alarm hacking only when you want to steal the car without police attention, otherwise you can ignore it and drive
@@Rude_Boi bro as you can see if you steal a car in GTA 5 Franklin lockpicks the door. But if you in a pursuit he just smashes the window with his elbow. So you can add a feature like that for optional stealth and some real GRAND THEFT OF AUTOS....
I disliked Chinatown wars because top down view was bad for me

See you in 10 years when this video appears in the UA-cam recomendations again.
see ya pedro
I don't think so it will appear in recommendations after 10 years because till that time new gta games like gta 6 and maybe gta 7 have arrived so this video will be old
@@notevencalm You never know what you get recommended and when.
@Tech Saransh I don't think, GTA VII is out in only 10 years. We have waited 6.5years since release of GTA V and GTA VI is still not announced. Even if they announce it today, we have at least to wait another 2-3years till release. And since the first GTA, every new GTA adds time between the games. So no GTA VII in 2030.
Se you in a decade
car: *is unlocked and ready to drive*
car: *imma trigger the car alarm for no reason*
Exactly...how does the alarm start if the car is already unlocked?
It doesn’t detect if it was broken into. It just detects if the door is open. Which is why car alarms seem kinda useless.
newer cars have motion sensors to detect intrusions
I prefer IV’s car alarms

@GReedy 💁🏼♀️💁🏼♀️
I've set a thousand alarms in gta3. Not once in San Andreas
Well, I've only did that in multiplayer. Idk how tho, because in single player, it must be impossible without mods right?
@@dauphongii They're pretty common actually in SP.
@@coreystrokes295 uhh, which cars exactly? Because tbh, I mostly just stole cars like lowriders and sports. Are luxury cars with alarm? And does it matter if you play steam or CD version?
@@dauphongii It's kinda random actually, mostly cars parked on parking lots have alarm, mostly sports cars.
@@coreystrokes295 what about cars parked on the sidewalks/in the street?
The difference in GTA 5 is that when the cars alarm is on none of the lights turn on. And in GTA 4 car alarms can also be activated when you crash a car into it, or it gets damaged
It happens the same in GTA 5 dude
So it's random
@Danoni that's more realistic imo
Lmao, I just realized that the only lights that do blink on the car alarm is the lights for turn signals
In Gta IV, windows go broken on a nearby explosion. And not in Gta V.

Why don't they put it in every car?

In GTA V, old cars do not have the Alarm system. Newer cars have.
Not true.
@@dauphongii Some of the older cars probably had aftermarket alarms installed. I like to think that's the case.
@@jrt2792 probably, but I've got into a lot of cars that didn't had the alarm system on vinewood hills and in front of the university, which were cars like Ferrari, prosche, BMW etc. And they didn't had an alarm, or they had broken one. But I got into many cars in ghettos as well, some almost undrivable and it still had alarm
Those engine sounds, pure nostalgia

One thing i do like is GTA III & Vice City is the headlamp bulbs actually have a dimming effect as if they are heating down when they turn off. In GTA IV, this little effect doesn't happen and it's as if the car headlamps are LED's as opposed to halogen lamps. Wow, i'm sad that i even noticed this little detail...
@@drummer9583 I'm pointing out a subtle effect that goes unnoticed by many which i thought was pretty cool. If you turn the brights on a car with halogen headlamps then turn them off, the lamps take a few split seconds to burn out completely from the filament cooling down. In GTA III and VC they replicate this effect if you look at the flashing lights in the video but they don't replicate it in GTA 4 & 5.
Chinatown wars was a really good game
Yes
Very underrated
Did all but this one, thanks to this connent I'll get on it!
@Car Numba One In GTA III was very hard to not have 500.000, once in the game there was no much thing to use the money, only weapons and police/hospital tax.
Gta San Andreas only have a few cars with alarm, is the ones that are placed around the map and that you need to deliver to the Export ship in SF and once it’s delivered the car won’t spawn again at the specific location again
This is actually interesting to me.
How about the evolution of the driving physics through the series
Good one! I'll try it. 😊👍
Lol you mean from realistic and more solid,to arcade and mario kart which was GTA 5
@@lazertag720 gta 4 is worse its like riding a boat in the road.
@@avdcrx5441 better than riding a toy car with no suspension
ive driven in both gta 5 and gta 4 gta 5 is better at driving physics in gta 4 i just keep bumping in to things its annoying.
Gta Chinatown wars has more realistic vehicle theft then any other gta hopefully gta 6 has the hotwire process and imobilized or even the screw driver that would be awesome.
This will make the game boring cuz it will take time and when u in a cop chase and wanna drive another parking car he will take time until he start the engine and at that time the police will be waiting for u until u start the engine so they can arrest you
Busta cj!
Yep, the three methods (screwdriver, hotwire, immobilizer) were really fun minigames for stealing cars in CW. GTA IV and V only use the hotwire animation...
@@danteman9634 Solution to this is simply to have an exit hotwire/hack button, allowing you to skip by just pressing an extra button, at the cost of the alarm going off.

GTA IV is really a huge improvement, GTA V just has better graphics, textures, larger map, more vehicles and satisfying minor things (like working dashboard and the bomb alarm BlaZe showed to us)
dude nobody cares about car alarms this meesed up dude difference between game 4 has soviet time car alarms so i think this is way more familiar to YOU 🤣
GTA 2 also has car alarms, they have at least 2 different sounds: the same one as in GTA 3, and another one, way faster and high pitched, that one hurts your ears
GTA 1 has it too!
Gta 5 was awesome
More modern cars had silent alarms that notified the police as well.
i remember when i played CTW, you’d had to stop the alarm with that and it was frustrating.
To me, the graphics and light effects in 3 and VC looks wayyyyy better than in GTA SA. And even the urban areas looks more livingful.

For some reason everything that was good in GTA 4 is now nerfed in GTA 5.
Car allarms were more realistic in GTA 4 because of the headlights and rear lights blinking with the allarm itself, normally a stolen car must be visible and loud so the police/randoms can spot the criminal very quickly and report the stolen car.
The blinking headlights are completelly missing in GTA 5 and instead you will only see the indicator lights turning on and off (something pretty useless since they are not even visible at all or even unexisting on some vehicles)
