Rekla mówke makes sense to me, shop bags (carrier bags) usually have the store/shop name printed on them, so it’s in a way talking (mówić/mówke) about the shop/store by the advertisement (reklama/rekla) printed on it.
That's right! And I remember times there were also advertisements from other companies. So you could go to a store and say: hey, I produce local beer, will you promote me? And then a Polish grandma was walking around the neighborhood with a beer ad on her plastic bag :)
Dziękuję panu! I hope that politicians will not destroy the world and ordinary people of all countries will be able to live and travel. Masakra.. I'm from Russia, but I really like Poland, it's a pity that it's impossible to get a visa now. I miss cozy old streets, zhurek, trams and wise Polish forests ❤
🤣I was in a small store in Warsaw and bought 2 beers for the night and needed a bag. I thought "Poprosze torba" was correct but the cashier didn't understand. Moj polski jest okropny! Ale jestem w tym coraz lepszy! I got my bag though!
I think they should understand it. Torba is good enough. Sometimes when people hear a foreign accent they automatically switch to “I don’t understand a word MODE” :)
I literally asked for a torba in the shop the other day, and the woman didn't seem that surprised, and pointed me to where to get the plastic bags. So it seems it worked, but now I realise it wasn't actually the correct word unfortunately :(
Very good, Derek! I would definitely watch more videos like this one.
Good to see you uploading again man
Love this. Much needed. Polish is coming back to me!
My offer still up to date :)

😄 some people turn their bags inside out, so not to give the shops free advertising.
Hey, welcome back 🤟🏻

Shouldn’t it be MAJĄ państwo instead of MACIE państwo…? Or maybe you can say both?
exactly the question I wanted to ask...
upd: reddit basically said wszystko jedno :))
@@katttok Good to know! Thanks!
