Yes you are right. But Leanne had the most devoted parents any kid with talent could ever dream of. Imagine if poor Susan Boyle had a decent family. More needs to be done to give talented kids with disabilities the careers they deserve. They are far more grateful than the rest.

I think that is why she married her first husband, just to break away. I also believe that is why now she just does what she wants, smaller venues, for the love of the music.

Saw Leann Rimes in Kansas City when she was about 11. Increadable and as cute as could be. I will always see her as the daughter I never had. Love her.
It would have been amazing for Leeann and Marty Robbins to have done a duet together. They both had/have the same vocal ranges and were/are the quintessential performers !!
She is beautiful Has a strong voice, and sings country like no other can compete with her. I feel bad for all these poor child stars and singers put to work as such a young age. I know she had a hit album 5 years later. 13 years old. None of them ever get to be kids
I’m saw her years ago in a bar in southeast Oklahoma. Her parents were at the table next to us. I asked my friends at the table who let that little girl in here. Then she went up on stage. When I heard her voice, the hair on the back of my neck stood up. She was amazing! I said then that she was going places.
That Levi is pure gentleman! He accepted his loss graciously & was instantly happy for LeAnn. He seems so nice, I’m thinking maybe she should have gone for him, thinking her life probably would have been more stable than it turned out to be.

Probably the most "famous" female country singer of her time but definitely NOT the "best." Nowhere near it. Her voice couldn't blow you away like some of the other phenomenal voices out there in country music could. She was a great singer and popular with mainstream country music at the time but to say she was the best is an overstatement knowing the talent out there that easily surpassed Patsy Cline.

Mine stayed white blond til I was 6, then grew strawberry blonde til it turned completely red as an adult. My mom's stayed white blonde til she was 20 & had my sister. There's a lot of us who never bleached our hair. But show business is not the normal world.
