The Climbkhana Files gives viewers the same raw and unscripted behind-the-scenes storytelling from the creative team (Hoonigan Media Machine) that brought you The Gymkhana Files - the 3x Emmy nominated series launched on Amazon Prime in November of 2018.

In this second episode, Ken Block jumps straight into action for the opening scenes and first few tricks on the way up Tianmen Mountain. Despite some challenges due to the added language barrier and navigating a narrow road that's still alive with tourism, director Brian Scotto impressively choreographs Ken and the Hoonigan crew through some epic (and some sketchy) moments - including a perfect "on-take-Jake" wing-drag on the very first attempt!

Eh, don't feel that way though. These videos are made by professionals and edited to give the perfect illusion of a seamlessly perfect run, no stop. The only reason you thought it was all in one take is because the fellas at Hoonigan are incredibly talented video editors, not to mention the perfection that is Ken Block's driving. This marriage between the editing and driving creates the sexy content that we love. In reality, it's probably just as much of a challenge for Ken to make a perfect run as it is for him to wait impatiently for the crew to get the shot right, no talent lost.

Have to be. Must be. Time is money and it burns quicker than a wildfire. Full credit to Scotto and the crew for making Ken look great. 😎
Did you expect it to be chaos? You have a 6 figure car, one of the best drivers in the world, camera ops that are probably being paid 800+ per day each, plus rental costs for each camera being probably 1400 plus per day, you’re paying the entire mechanic team, importing cars overseas, and paying to lock of an insane popular tourist location (meaning you have to outbid what the tourists will pay), a full team of ADs, a drone op that’s probably 2k per day, and they for sure had to work with the local gov. You cant afford chaos. You have to use professionals. It has to be done the right way.

It's cool to see how much goes into something like this. Scotto with the coolest head I've seen in production too (I'd have lost the plot running that set).
It’s a great crew... lots of confidence in the team getting the shot, helps me keep calm!
I'm surprised they all stayed sane during the gymkhana 10 shoot. That film had so many problems around it but they made it work

This is seriously amazing to watch what goes into these films, it feels like watching a crazy drama but for car enthusiast. I can't wait for part 3 and any and all future projects!

I'm just now finding these Gymkhana Files vides. These are gold! I don't know how many of these you guys have made but I'm gonna watch all I can find and I hope you guys release them for each Gymkhana especially now that Ken is gone. Even if you guys did new ones we would greatly miss Ken's commentary but I'm sure all of us Block fan's would greatly appreciate all the behind the scenes footage of him as well as his family. Now that he's gone, I'd love to see all that footage of him that no one has ever seen get used for something like this.
These are some of my favorite videos ever and I can't stop watching. Seriously if you guys decided to make these videos into a DVD/Blue Ray to sell I would buy them hands down!

Not only is it hard to pull off those tricks, watching this, I realized how careful Ken has to be if all the people shooting. That’s just another level! Major props to Ken and his talent!
