- Well here is the awesome maiden flight of my new FMS 2300 FOX V2. The FMS 2300 FOX V2 is a 2.3 meter wingspan that was sent to me from the awesome company HobbyZone! Thanks HobbyZone for the opportunity to bring out this FMS 2300 FOX V2 for it's awesome maiden. Now I am unclear about the difference between the V1 and the V2 but I sure like this FOX!

Really enjoyed flying this plane! Be Careful with the wing tips and rudder tip , they bend very easily.
ANOTHER GREAT VID! THIS GLID,ER IS GREAT FOR LIGHT WIND DAYS, AND MY ASW-28 IS BETTER FOR WINDY DAYS, MORE OF AN HOTROD THE ASW-28. I USE THE 620 RECEIVERS IN ALL OF MY SAILPLANES, NO RANGE PROBLEMS! MAHALOS!
Thanks for sharing , a common mistake people think that all gliders are the same.
I would buy one if it had the quick connectors on the wings, also I already have the FMS ASW 17 2500mm, so I will eventually buy the FMS Fox 3000mm which does have the quick connectors
yeah the 2300 is a very old design, good flyer however.

Great video Greg! My gliders can get a good distance away so I ask if we are confident with the 620 and it's internal antenna?
I have never had any signal issues with the 620 in gliders. I have used them in this one, the Arrows SZD 54 and the FMS 2.5 meter asw.
I think the difference between V1 and V" is the Reflex Giro. I wonder if your CG is right, You have the CG at 55mm you said, book says 40mm so you are way off
I probably misread the manual that would explain my difficulties.
The point of this plane isnt to fly around with the engine running. Its a glider and a windy day is what you want with a glider. You are supposed to take the glider up with the engine high on a windy day and then shut the engine down and let it glide around and catch thermals on a nice day. But wind is your bst friend with one of these gliders. 👍🏻Enjoy.
Yeah I know using the motor short changes the true flight and elegance of a glider. I regret not featuring that in this maiden, but there is always the next video!!!
